I told the hotel my planned arrival time days ahead of arrival. When I arrived, the entire place was locked up, no one there to meet me, and their phone number didn’t even work! After waiting 30+ minutes I had to leave to find an another place to stay. Still no response or explanation, 2 days later!
It was closed side couldn’t stay there .. phone disconnected . 863 $ paid before arrival .
There was no one there . $864 wasted. Had to find new accommodation.
Gorgeous old home restored and modernised. High quality finishing and fittings.
Very comfortable boutique hotel within a Period property a stones throw from Ponsonby street. Really nice touches and the afternoon drinks was a nice additional treat I was not expecting.
Nothing. Place is a incredibly well run
The service was outstanding— was warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The location was perfect, close to everything we needed yet peaceful and relaxing. The suites were stunning—spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. To top it all off, the breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of fresh and tasty options We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend it to anyone.
It was gorgeous, stylish, friendly, great location. Very homely & chic.
Maybe a little noisey near main hallway but otherwise fab.
Such a beautiful house, inside and out. Rooms were so lovely and clean. Bed and linen was the best I’ve ever had! So close to everything! We walked everywhere! The staff were so friendly. Can’t wait to come back.
No milk for the tea and coffee in the rooms lol. That was literally the only thing!
Beautiful tasteful decor, an old villa renovated to accommodate 6 rooms, and a small library. Amazing location close to Ponsonby
The room we were in was close to the front door and we heard other guests coming and going (Fitzroy Suite)
This is a really interesting hotel - from the outside it looks like you are staying in a beautifully restored quaint local home with a gorgeous frontage. When you walk inside you realize it has been gloriously renovated - in a much more modern vibe. The art is beautiful, the rooms are perfect, the tiny library (with your complimentary wine) is so relaxing. We felt very at home and the staff were exceptional. Oh and breakfast was delicious on the porch.
Location fantastic - Quiet area but close to excellent bars, cafes, restaurants and boutique shopping.
Breakfast was superb and enjoyable on the deck. The small sitting room for wine and canapés each evening was a delight.
The location was perfect for me, close to friends and all that I needed to do in Auckland .
There was not always a staff member there, for example when I was checking out and needed to leave my bag in reception for a few hours before my flight
Clean, hip, comfortable. Attentive service. Fun neighborhood for shopping and food options. Great alternative to Auckland center.
Beautiful accommodations. Excellent breakfast and happy hour
It is not downtown if that is the location you want
Comfortable rooms, modern.
Rooms very small. The breakfast was terrible, it was so small and for a high end hotel not up to standard.
everything was fantastic. Leo the manager was fantastic.
Perfect inner city stay that is private enough to feel like home but close to everything
