We had a lovely night stay here. The room was very very beautiful and cosy. Everything was super clean and the staff were incredibly welcoming, helpful and friendly. Can’t wait to go back :)
My partner and I were welcomed warmly with a tour of the hotel and room with Elliot, as well as being gifted two bottles of antipodes water and a sleek, simple but beautiful reusable water bottle/thermos. We were so impressed!
The room was compact but beautifully and elegantly designed, every detail thought out to perfection.
We felt cocooned by the warmth and silence that surrendered to us when we gazed out at the Waitematā Harbour or blissfully slept.
The Libraries were a true highlight for us as a sanctuary to read and admire Shane Cotton’s artistic expression.
Breakfast was always delightful with the staff being so attentive and friendly. We would highly recommend the banana, tahini loaf with coconut yogurt; it was sweet, nutty and creamy, the chocolate chips elevating it to absolute decadence. The Zealong lemon ginger tea was refreshingly good as well.
Overall it was an amazing experience with all staff members being very accommodating, especially Moneeta who made us feel very special and cared for.

Water goes everywhere in bathroom from
the shower, when I asked for extra coat hangers they bought up wire ones and only 2 to start, it took 2 calls and 45 minutes to get towels, when we checked in we were given limited information including the inclusive breakfast finished at 11am on Saturday rather than the all day brunch we were informed about and we weren’t told about the Gym or the The Libraries for guests, had to find that out myself. We went to the library twice for drinks and weren’t asked if we wanted another drink, there were no guests but the staff did not check if you wanted anything else, missing out on sales. They had the wrong credit card on my room so hoping I don’t have other charges, had additional room service on the room.
