Pros:

The staff was always friendly, you always felt like coming home. Julian is a wonderful resource, always calm, always reliable, an excellent representation of your hotel.
Rooms are nicely laid out. A staff reviewed the room controls for lighting, temperature, room darkening which was a ton of help.

Cons:

Some staff despite friendliness were disingenuous, expressing help but not carrying it through. One didn't reserve a cab when we requested one, and even made a laughing remark that where we needed a cab was close enough to walk. Which we were aware of, but that is not his concern. Another staff, we requested to help us find a dentist emergently, and he said "I will do my best", and disappeared after that, with no follow up or obvious endorsement to other staff. Understandably a difficult request, but disingenuous nonetheless. Next time, be honest.

Great stay, confotavle, stylish and great location for discovering Auckland.
Pros:

Location, dark rooms for sleeping, comfortable bed, good amenities, restaurant and private lounge, building and interior design. Very close to ferries, restaurants and walking track.

Cons:

Would be great to have a sauna!

Great.
Pros:

Great location. Pleasant staff and everything was super clean. Very trendy.
Tea and coffee facilities were provided.
I also loved the pricelist for everything a guest might want to steal from the room. What a great idea.

Cons:

I did suggest to reception that they need a toilet brush in each room. Not an issue for singles, but for couples it is a must, especially as the toilets have no doors.
Some small UHT/long-life milk would have been good too.
