Great stay, confotavle, stylish and great location for discovering Auckland.
Pros:

Location, dark rooms for sleeping, comfortable bed, good amenities, restaurant and private lounge, building and interior design. Very close to ferries, restaurants and walking track.

Cons:

Would be great to have a sauna!

Pros:

Great location. Pleasant staff and everything was super clean. Very trendy.
Tea and coffee facilities were provided.
I also loved the pricelist for everything a guest might want to steal from the room. What a great idea.

Cons:

I did suggest to reception that they need a toilet brush in each room. Not an issue for singles, but for couples it is a must, especially as the toilets have no doors.
Some small UHT/long-life milk would have been good too.

Great place to stay while in Auckland. We'll be back!
Pros:

The reception staff was very efficient and friendly on check-in. My request for a high floor and harbor view was satisfied with a room in the perfect location. Although the room is a bit on the small side, it was quite adequate and very comfortable. The sheer and blackout shades worked nicely. The housekeeping staff did a wonderful job for each of the three days we stayed at The Hotel Britomart. The location of the hotel is among the best for vacationers as it is right across the street from the wharf, ferries, and fine dining, and very close to the CBD for business visitors. This stay was our second, just prior to leaving NZ. After a late checkout, we were made to feel welcome and comfortable before a late departure for home.

Cons:

The lighting is rather complicated with buttons to turn it on and off, as well as dimming with the same button. The bed stands are little alcoves. They were tight and awkward, but they did have a USB port and two electrical outlets, so I can't complain too much about the space.

Gorgeous and serene hotel as a home away from home
Pros:

The hotel is more beautiful in person with all the natural materials and design elements. Extremely clean. All front line staff and concierge were exceptionally warm and friendly, and the beds and pillows extremely comfortable. We didn’t eat at the hotel as there were several great choices within a block or even a few steps away. The waterfront is right there and a happening area to visit at night. Some rooms on the top floors or corners have a better view of the water or even the square below, others not so much. We booked two rooms for five nights and made the hotel a base for our travels. Wish it was a better value for money, would have been nice to have a small gesture towards that. Great stay overall!!

Pros:

Excellent breakfast - recommend the huevos rancheros as a healthy start to the day. Staff are young and extremely attentive and helpful

Great spot to explore Auckland from
Pros:

Fantastic location! Really nice restaurant and great coffee on site. Our room was quiet and comfortable and had all of the amenities that we needed. Love the automated blackout and sunshade blinds.

A beautifully designed modern hotel. Fantastic location. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Cons:

Because of the location of the hotel and the room, the noise from the street was quite audible, mainly people coming out from the bars and clubs. But to be expected given the amazing location in the heart of Britomart.
