the room was clean, large, and well equipped. The staff were kind, and one of the men were kind enough to let us go to our old room after petra to shower and change after sweating in the hot sun and being exhausted (it was past our check out time). We had time between the bus back to amman and petra so they let us store our bags there as well. The man that let us shower deserves a raise. SO KIND. He and my husband had a conversation about living there, shared interests, and he doesnt take a liking to too many people. Also, we asked if we could have a breakfast to go as we wanted to be at petra at open before the crowds, and they packed us a great breakfast to go. It was amazing! Highly recommend this hotel because of these things.

Pros:

Wir haben zwei Nächte in diesem Hotel ganz in der Nähe des Eingangs zu Petra verbracht und waren sehr zufrieden. Die Lage ist perfekt, um Petra früh und entspannt zu erkunden.
Die Zimmer waren sauber und gemütlich, das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Besonders bedanken möchten wir uns für den leckeren Tee und die Shisha – eine sehr schöne, entspannte Atmosphäre am Abend.
Auch das Frühstück war sehr lecker.
Ein tolles Hotel, das wir gerne weiterempfehlen!

Incredibly helpful and friendly staff.

A short (5min) walk downhill to Petra entrance.

Breakfast was solid, with the option of cooked omelette as well. More than enough to fuel a days hiking.

Rooms were comfortable, and everything you needed.

Would 100% recommend

Cons:

Hot water takes a while to come on. They let us know about this, so no issues. Just an FYI.

It is a hike back up hill after a day of exploring Petra (about 10-15min). Again, no fault of Petra Aretas, but as an FYI. We just stopped for dinner at one of the restaurants on the "main" street outside Petra entrance before walking back up the hill to the hotel

Pros:

L’emplacement idéalement situé de l’entrée du site de Petra la propreté des lieux et les lits confortables aussi au calme
Un service à table pour le petit déjeuner (habituellement en buffet) c’était agréable
Le personnel très gentil à notre service
Plus un 3*

Cons:

Le petit déjeuner qui est plutôt sale que sucré malgré qu’on nous a proposé le lendemain un petit déjeuner sucrée et on vous en remercie cela restait un peu léger par rapport a nos habitudes
Manque une bouilloire et des dosette toujours agréable de se faire un petit café ou thé

Cons:

Water pump on roof made a loud noise 10 seconds out of every 2 minutes which was annoying, but staff was willing to turn it off during sleeping hours

Walking distance to Petra entrance. Small grocery/convenience store ~20m up the road.
Excellent friendly staff appreciative of having guests, flexible with meal time and packed breakfast to go when leaving early. Staff always available if needed.
