if you would like to make friends and share travel experiences at the hostel, that this place is not your type.
it is like a boarding school dorm and has a strict houseman there, everyone keep quiet.

Comfortable and clean
Pros:

Clean and cosy place, there’s laundry that’s free and available to use and a really nice rooftop place to rest and chill! Owner was also very friendly and recommended me nearby vegetarian and breakfast places to eat because I am a vegetarian. Overall a great stay! Just a note: there’s only stairs and no lifts so got to carry your luggage up!

因為走廊+浴室沒有冷氣，所以會稍微有點悶熱，不過台東的夏天還是可以忍受的啦😆

Pros:

Very nice small and cozy hostel. The owner is super nice and welcoming and helped us out with the bus. It is nicely decorated and features a comfortable living room space, rooftop and some chairs in front of the hostel.
It isn't in the center of the city (meaning it's calm) but you'll get there easily either by walking or rental bike (there are stations nearby).
You have to be aware that there are 3 cats, they're very cute and the hostel is cleaned every day, but if you have severe allergies that might be a problem.
