Would definitely come back here. The service from the hotel staff is great and the location is good too.
Pros:

It was very close to the airport bus station. Very central to restaurants and grocery stores.

The staff was extremely polite and helpful! The bad was very comfortable. The location is very good and the restaurant serves delicious food.

Cons:

The idea of room credit was new to me. Apparently there was no way to put anything on a room tab because I was supposed to make a deposit first or something I don't know... There was no toilet brush in the bathroom; They didn't refil our drinking water and there was no mini bar or room service (may be this is hotel policy like the room credit). And the rooftop pool area could use some development because right now it feels a bit empty and cheap

Fantastic stay
Pros:

Amazing stay, standard and facilities of hotel were very good. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely roof top area, and pool with fantastic views. Only negative would be in the peak of summer if the rooftop is big enough to accommodate everyone. We had breakfast on check out which was great, lots of options and very tasty. Thank you Hyatt Regency Malta

Pros:

Well run hotel with really good service, food, cleanliness, and facilities. This was not our first time at the hotel, and the employees remembered who we were, despite seeing thousands of guests every year.

Wonderful stay at this top tier hotel
Pros:

Beautiful hotel in a great central location. St Julian is a town with easy access routes to the coast and other historical locations. The hotel itself is exactly what it says on the tin, definitely 5 star, definitely upmarket. Having said that, the staff are genuinely kind and so helpful. A huge shout out to Valentina who helped us with a couple of excursions, a boat trip to Comino and Blue Lagoon and a sight seeing tour of Mdina and Rabat. Nothing was too much bother for this top customer service team. We loved our room, it was spacious with an excellent air-conditioning system, not too hot or too cold, we slept amazingly well. I would highly recommend this establishment, I don't think I've stayed anywhere better in my many years of travelling the world 👌

Nice enough hotel, wrong location
Pros:

The modern, middle-market style was catered for by this outpost of an international chain, and was absolutely fine in terms of cleanliness and offerings.

Cons:

One day these hotels will take their bar areas seriously and provide an environment that both their customers and staff want to spend time. In this case, the bar was done with a feeling of reluctance, as if because they had been told from on high that 'there will be a bar'. The trouble with the St Julian's area is that the average customer is probably under 25 and out to kick up a storm. Here, there was the perfect antidote to this but was in a state of neglect. A respectable person would never be knowingly seen spending any amount of time and money in the hotel of an evening, and that is its true shame

I liked the design and light of the hotel

Cons:

The facilities provided are small for such a big hotel in order so that guests feel comfortable even when its a bit more crowded. the pool areas, specially the outdoors one, needed to provide more space and different areas in a sun themed destination such as Malta.
Also, although the breakfast has variety they had some issues with replacing things such as bowls and some food items that for example are not replaced even for the next morning. The pancake batter ended during breakfast service one day and they tried to do them with different ingredients but failed and on the next day most of them we're burned.
They're small details but you would expect them not to happen.
