If you are used to a hotel front desk that is always available then this stay will be a bit different. Reception only opens at 10am which I think is quite late.
Location was good and hotel is aesthetically pleasing.
Style over substance. The property had apparent “climate control” however this did not work in our room. The staff were rude when this issue was raised and effectively said this would not keep the room cool (regardless of the fact the system is there to CONTROL the CLIMATE). I have seen other negative reviews where the hotel say they are looking to resolve the issue since last year, but clearly have failed to do so. Made sleeping uncomfortable on a hot evening. We were told to use the fan and keep the window open, however on a busy Saturday night it was noisy and caused further issues with sleep. There was also a burnt iron mark on a surface, half empty bottles of water in the fridge upon our arrival and a broken bathroom cabinet. Given the price, it feels like this place is focused more on an instagram post rather than client experience. The website discusses the bed and linens, however there is an uncomfortable cheap mattress topper on the “deluxe double bed” and the linens were scratchy, not “soft” as they claim.
Gorgeous room, beautiful design, was comfortable and spacious. Free mini bar was lovely touch. Location was great in Nordhaven were you felt away from the business of Copenhagen city centre but also well connected with the metro still close by. Gorgeous cafe downstairs, but also multiple others to choose from within 100m walk.
No elevator available outside of opening hours make a late check in more difficult if you have heavy bags to get upstairs. We were made away of this and it was not a huge problem but something to know if you are planning your stay.
Nicely designed and functional rooms.
Cleanliness was suboptimal, eg significant amounts of dust on less frequently used surfaces such as lamps and artwork. No airconditioning, rooms were very hot during our summer stay. Staff was not welcoming at check-in.
Stylish boutique hotel in a great location in Nordhavn. The staff was impeccable: made us feel at ease and well cared for, and despite limited front desk hours, communication via email was seamless. And naturally for Audo, rooms are stylish, comfortable, and have cozy cityscape view.
The room was a bit dusty and showed early signs of wear. The latter is an indictment of previous guests more so than property maintenance. It's a shame visitors aren't more careful with the exposed wood and metal surfaces.
