Could do with a good cleaning of appliances Comfort beds we had a single n a double Fridge was stinking so we didn’t dare use it. Empty glasses on top of fridge with no complimentary drinks - water. B & B - two/ three families were very sick from the buffet though it did taste nice 🙃 One night stay (I couldn’t tell you if it was worth the rupees bcoz our Uncle sorted it out) Lift to 5th floor wheelchair accessible but steps into hotel 🤦♀️ no ramp in sight
't waste ur money..
Even after requesting an early check-in our rooms were not ready,we had to wait around for 1 hour in the lobby for apparently someone to clean the rooms. When we got the rooms they were dirty full of dust and no towels, the bathroom had hair in the shower which is disgusting
Even after requesting an early check-in our rooms were not ready,we had to wait around for 1 hour in the lobby for apparently someone to clean the rooms. When we got the rooms they were dirty full of dust and no towels, the bathroom had hair in the shower which is disgusting. I had to call house keeping to sort it then Having them stand at the door for a tip like it's ur job and should have been done before?
Breakfast wasn't included as it states and when u order on the phone it take over and hour to get a simple English tea.
No kettle in room again which was online to be a normal thing in rooms. Expensive rooms serves is poor. Don't waste ur money.
Clean hotel and quite modern considering this is Pakistan and not Dubai. AC facilitated which is very important in Hot months. Staff are quite friendly but the room prices seem to vary according to staff (haggle/negotiate) which indicates that again it’s just like any other hotel in PK. Best excuse for raised prices...electricity prices have increased 🤣
Location of hotel is good. Rooms are neat & clean. All staff are really helpful. But the only thing is they don't have backups for AC. Light went off @ 12:00 am & came back at 07:00 am. Whole night i didn't get the sleep. Beacause they dont have backup of AC on generator. This thing should be inform at check in time.
Overall good staff, excellent service all round , but got to say the food was well over priced.
I would stay here again , this place is well located and does have a family friendly element, staff were very polite and willing to help out.
Helpful staff, all the additional demands/ requirement were fulfilled.
very good service and tasty food round the clock. Most of other hotels have very slow service at night but here it was same throughout.
Breakfast was really delicious.
Will stay again and recommend it to everyone!
I stayed in this hotel so many times. Staff was extermely helpful especially front desk staff. Housekeeping staff is doing good job. In washroom there is no soap just liquid soap & shampoo containers are installed. Anyway it was a good experience.
Stayed in Executive rooms for 5 days. Highly recommended. Staff was very helpful and available round the clock. Food is tasty and was cooked according to our taste. Lobby area is really spacious and ideal to see visiting friends. We used the restaurant area quite often for our meals and it is well decorated and clean.
Family felt safe during the stay and kids really liked it as staff was very friendly with them.
I stayed here on a short stay whilst visiting Pakistan. We booked a VIP suite and a double room.
The VIP suite was a medium sized room which was sufficient. Nothing special considering it was a VIP suite. The bed was the downfall for me, looked really cheap and tacky. The double room was just a standard room.
Bathroom was nice though.
Food was good.
Probably wouldn't stay here again, think it is a little expensive for what it is.
A good family run hotel in a very busy area of Rawalpindi. Every time I have visited Pakistan, I have always stayed here. Friendly management and staff make it a pleasurable stay.
Wifi could be improved upon, but I guess that is the case right across Pakistan. The best signal is in reception. For best views of Liaquat Baag, choose rooms at the front of the hotel.
After the refurb its a million times better then wat it used to be i would recommend it to all my family and friends . The food is of good quality the breakfast buffet could be abit bigger with a few international dishes , keep up the good work 👍
I’ve been to many hotels around the world and I have to say this is without doubt the worst I’ve stayed in.
Let’s start with the positive
1. The doorman was really
Pleasant opening the entrance as we moved in and out of the hotel.
2. The WiFi here was better than most places in Pakistan from my experience.
3. One of the service staff was really helpful
4 Reception staff are polite.
Now with the bad things
1. In general staff are abrupt and rude on the restaurant and when you ring housekeeping. Clearly they don’t enjoy their job and have had little training on hospitality.
2. The rooms are dated. Old furniture and dust everywhere.
3. The breakfast is awful. The buffet is extremely limited and the quality is poor and felt like we were given left overs from the day before. The food from street vendors is probably better quality and obviously cheaper.
4. My biggest issue was cleanliness. At every level this was poor. The restaurant cutlery, the bathrooms, the bed linen and the corridors. Cleaning is done but half hearted and you’ll see the accumulation of dust over a long period in all corners.
I would guess that this place would be closed on H&S grounds in the uk. I don’t believe I have overly high standards but would want clean facilities. Whilst cheaper than hotels within the uk it’s more pricey than other hotels nearby. I note a number of really positive reviews but have learnt that the owners are from Sheffield. Please read those reviews with a pinch of salt and certainly
disagree with everything that has been said.
Very poor with regards to cleanliness and services. Poorly mannered staff, extremely disturbing environment. It is 1:39 am local time and every 15-20 minutes you hear a loud boom 💥 of door closing and women talking in corridors, probably the hotel is suitable for that kind of stuff.
Prices are much higher than hotels of better services in the surrounding. TV set is small and outdated, fridge is completely empty not even a bottle of mineral water.
The bathrooms say another terrible story, corroded walls, dirty taps, dirty towels, dare to clean your shoes with the towels they have kept to wipe your face with them. No way to escape🏃, but better be careful next time.
Salaam
i have recently had the pleasure of staying at the above hotel for 18 nights and was so surprised. After not being to Pakistan for 19 years and feeling daunted, apprehensive scared i would like to say a big thankyou to Haji Tariq Yacub and his wonderful staff.
From pulling up outside on 08/09/17 to departing on 25/09/17 my whole stay was an absolute pleasure, nothing was too much trouble.
Having the option to rent a car for my stay and to visit where i wanted was a plus, just pay a daily rate and take the driver wherever you want to go, and by wherever i mean wherever. They can even organise excursions for you.
The restaurant food is wonderful and not overpriced and the breakfast buffet is divine.
I have stayed in many 5 star hotels in the world and if this is only a 3 star then the star rating needs to be revised i would deffo give this a 5 star rating for everything.
I would like to extend a big thankyou to Raja Khalil and Faeeem the doormen, uncle zafar and co behind recetion,to uncle riaz the bellboy, to the restaurant team and a special thanks to Bhai Shazaad head of car hire and my wonderful driver Mehtab, you will always remain dear in my heart and my duas.
So if your looking for the ideal hotel in Pindi/Islamabad that wont break the bank then this is the one.
I stayed here for 4 nights before flying back to the UK, in early November 2016, Everything' about this 3 star hotel is positive, Prime Location, Clean rooms with fully working facilities, toilets, showers, tv, room service, laundry service, mini bar. What more could you ask for. Polite and very helpful staff, from the manager, bell boy, security guards, cleaning staff all were brilliant and made my stay very enjoyable, the food is also to a good standard, excellent restaurant and room service. Keep up the good work guys would thoroughly recommend.
We had an early flight back to the UK so decided to stop over in Islamabad/Rawalpindi the night before.
This is a pretty basic hotel similar to a 2/3 star B&B in the UK. That said the bed was fine, there was a fridge in the room and shower worked - that's all we needed!
You may need to haggle on the price, we paid the equivalent of about £30 for one night. There is food available but never tried anything.
The taxi to the airport took about 15-20 mins and was booked through the hotel from their Car Rental desk. This cost about RS1500 (approx. £8 at the time) a normal taxi would have been cheaper but we didn't have the time to go find one.
Plus side there was WIFI available in the room. Not a great connection but it worked.
We stayed one night here before flying out the hotel is in a good location from the airport. We had two rooms on floor 5 both where clean with comfy beds. Both rooms had lcd TVs with a choice of channels.
The hotel staff are quite friendly and the reception area has free wifi with comfy sofas to hang out on. We arranged our transfer to airport through hotel you pay bit more but won't be let down etc.
We used their restaurant for breakfast which was very good 6 of us orderd different stuff from the menu and the bill was 1300 rupees which is about £10.
I would def stay in this hotel again you can haggle a bit on the price they quote you. The location is ideal for anyone using the airport it's 10mins away. I would say this is a 3star Europe rated similar to a uk travelodge hotel.
This hotel would have been good if it was the year 1970. the location is without a doubt the only positive about this place. Old , worn out property, lacking some of the basic facilities in the room. Staff will always try to get money out from your pocket in ways you could have never thought of. The furniture, washroom amenities and décor of the room needs a complete overhaul as soon as possible. The breakfast is very limited and of average standard. No hot water in winters, that was the most irritating thing
