The lights from the internal stairwell lit up the room all night, hard to sleep. The curtains did not keep out the light completely.

Probably the worst of our 6 hotel visits during our 3 week South Island holiday.

Very nice hotel in great location
Pros:

Comfortable bed and great nights sleep. Very quiet given city centre location. Reception staff are very helpful and friendly

Lovely spacious room. Bathrobes being provided was a nice addition. Comfy bed.

Sleep was disrupted due to construction starting early across the road.

Loved the location and excellent breakfast choice.
Pros:

The location is excellent to explore Christchurch. The complimentary bkfst is a food credit at the cafe in the lobby - it had a great selection and the food we selected was excellent (and the credit was more than enough to pay for our bkfst). The King Bed was very comfortable and good quality sheet linens.

Cons:

Lobby was temporary due to upgrade, small elevator, and room was very small, challenging to find luggage space for two suitcases (only 1 luggage rack).
