Pros:

Fantastic location, close to everything in the city, walking distance to all shops and riverside market. The room was tidy and the view from my room was nice, the bathroom was spacious for a one bedroom.

Cons:

For $400 a night, I expected more. There was no mini bar, the pillows were extremely high and hard and there were no options of changing them so I had to sleep without a pillow so I didn't break my neck which made for an uncomfortable 2 nights. The roof top bar was very average for the price and they were shocking with their service. I had to go to the bar numerous times to order more drinks for the whole table, they never came to check on our table to take more orders and we were 1 of only 3 tables in there with 3 staff so that extremely disappointing. We would of stayed alot longer and spent more money if they had better service. Food was below average for the price. A pork belly salad with 2 tiny pieces of pork belly and salad leaves for close to $30? Thats shocking. It's a convenient place to stay but I think it should of be $200-$250 a night max! $400 anywhere else in the country can get you a far better experience.

on the whole it was good but with a few tweaks could have been better
Pros:

location was very central and yet quiet which was nice. The rooms and decor were lovely and modern and interesting

Cons:

we hadnt realised that parking wasnt included and was a couple of blocks away with an added cost. The wording was misleading around this. Also the breakfast was not included and was extra in a cafe attached. I also found the pillows to be way to big which impacted on my sleep. Also the shower head leaked which considering it was a new build was shoddy workman ship

A nice place to land in Christchurch.
Pros:

It was clean and walking distance to the main shopping area, restaurants, trolley and the train/bus station. The staff were friendly and very helpful.
