Gastgeberin mit Herz und schöne Apartments die keinen Wunsch übrig lassen
Pros:

Das Cardeal Suites & Apartments lässt keine Wünsche offen. Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft mit perfekter Lage um Faro zu Fuß zu erkunden. Aber ganz besonders hervorzuheben ist die Gastgeberin Claudia, die uns so herzlich empfangen hat und eine Menge Tipps uns mit auf den Weg gegeben hat. Auch der frühe Check In um 09:00 Uhr war kein Problem und unser Apartment war sogar schon bezugsfertig. Claudia vielen Dank für alles du hast den Aufenthalt für uns unvergesslich gemacht.

Nice and tidy place, good amenities in the kitchen (we only used the kettle and juicer). Oranges and a bottle of water on arrival was much appreciated. It is not in the old city centre but is close enough with main buildings to visit and restaurants at 10 max 15 minutes. The pâtisserie nearby (one minute away) was lovely and would highly recommend. Claudia was nice to interact with and pleasantly helpful when we needed water (unfortunately a pipe had burst in the nearby building and it took several hours to recover but at no fault of the accommodation she agreed to refund the night had we had to go somewhere else if water did not resume.. anyway, water was back that afternoon so we didn't need to go elsewhere but it was helpful to know we had options)

Cons:

Nothing in particular that we did not like. The area where the accommodation is looks a bit dodgy in the beginning but it was very safe and we had no issues at all. The beds were separated but I could not recall if booking was for a double bed so we just made it work.

Pros:

Ideal spot to stay in Faro, close to the old city, parking just outside. Beautiful communal internal patio. Claudia was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable about what we could do in our short time in Faro.

Excellent
Pros:

This is our second stay here. What a beautifully kept place. Very clean, very peaceful. Close to everything, Old Town, shopping district, restaurants, cafes, cafeterias, medical, and dental clinics. Claudia is a first class hostess. She answered all of our questions and provided excellent tips. We really appreciated the onsite parking garage. Very secure.

Nothing, all good. Will return.

Very clean and comfortable apartment with friendly and caring staff
Pros:

It was immaculately clean and in a quiet location. Claudia is an incredibly friendly, kind, welcoming and caring owner. She gave us lots of tips about the local area and places to visit. She was quick to resolve any issues that arose with the property. We really appreciated the delicious regional cookies and oranges. The historic centre of Faro is within walking distance, as are the many shops, restaurants, bakeries and supermarkets. The railway and bus station are also nearby for easy access to other towns and places of interest in the Algarve. We know where to stay next time we are in Faro!

Cons:

The immediate surroundings are not the most picturesque but you don’t really notice that once you are in the property which is like an oasis with its communal courtyard - ideal for relaxing. There is only one washing machine and tumble drier shared between nine apartments and both broke down during our stay. However, Claudia did kindly offer the use of the machine her staff use whilst waiting for an engineer.
