まだ新しいコンパクトなお部屋。
The room was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I like the offering of various pillows in the foyer for personal consumption during the stay
The on-sen area could be bigger

I stayed 3 nights for a conference in Shimonoseki. The hotel is clean, has all the amenities I need, and the onsen was a plus. Hotel provides pyjamas and all sorts of skin care products at no additional charge. The open bar in the evenings was also a nice touch. There are good restaurants within walking distance.

朝食は地元の食材を美味しく味わえました。館内が清潔で、檜の香が心地よかったです。また、エントランスにふぐの飾りを置く等、土地を意識した遊び心あるおもてなしにも和みました。
温泉が小さく洗い場が少ないので、入浴時待ち時間が生じました。お値段を考えると温泉があるだけでも嬉しいので、不満には感じていませんが...。温泉はとても気持ち良く、大きさと洗い場の少なさ以外は申し分なかったです。
The onsen was sooo nice and just what you need after a long day of running around. The bed was comfy and clean, the view was nice. The staff were very helpful when we couldn't find somewhere to park, and at breakfast.
The breakfast was not to my liking at all. Somehow the scrambled eggs were really sweet, and the yogurt was too so I couldn't even eat some of it. There's also no restaurants nearby so if you want to grab breakfast somewhere else it's going to be from the convenience store...
The room is predictably small, especially the bathroom (tiny!), but has all the necessary amenities (tv set, fridge, kettle). I found mine also relatively quiet, perhaps because the window faced the facade of a building next door. The best thing about staying here is breakfast which is excellent, and has an admirable selections of Western and Japanese, including local, foods. I really enjoyed interacting with the dining room staff and with one member of the reception staff who spoke English (a young man with glasses), otherwise English is not spoken.
The location is best for travelers using the international ferry terminal, otherwise you are stuck in the middle of nowhere and have to walk long distances to get to any places of interest in town (or use local buses which are efficient, but irregular). The hotel is favored by big groups and the lobby/breakfast space/elevator (one fir the entire hotel!) can get really crowded. No instructions how to access a staircase.

The staff services is awesome.the breakfast is simple but yummy. The only drawback of this hotel is the location. Though the hotel is located near the train station, but Shimonoseki is lack of NINKI.
The room size
The staff are very nice and helpful, a crew named 三田 is the best and she can communicate in English very fluently. Free drinks such as tea and coffee are offered most of the time. The Jr station is not too far and offers lot of shops and restaurants.
The on-site parking lot is too small that if I return late then I have to park my park car in a lot of 3 to 5 minutes walking distance. The room is really small, I should have chosen a room with two single beds,
