Lovely pool , clean rooms
When we checked into our room it smelled musty so reception gave us a humidifier it helped but not completely, every time we returned to room it still smelled I’m sure it contributed to us getting a fever after we had left. We would have mentioned again but didn’t want the hassle of changing rooms.
Way too many staff 3 people to open front doors is a bit excessive .
At pool side my partner was asked to wear a cap , we don’t have a problem with that but the next day we were asked again if we had used one , we know you have rules but we are not children we felt like we were being checked up on.
When we checked out we were asked for signature , when I mentioned why are we paying again the lady said no , no payment only to find out when we left my partner had been charged for the whole stay when i thought my card had been charged with the stay .On check in my card wasn’t asked for that had been pre Authorised or I would have given this.
My card still had a pending showing I emailed the hotel straight away asking for pending to be removed I was ignored. Finally after 30 days my payment was returned so they earnt interest on my money.
the location and the room.
difficult to find the switch of some of the lights. Impossible to turn off the lamp under the sink and one in the closet. For the 3 nights we stayed, we could not figure out how to switch those lamps off. The light disturbed our sleep.
