Traveling is fun.
Pros:

The only option to stay in this area this night. The hotel seemed surprised to see us but they were accommodating when we explained we had pre booked.
I can’t fault their willingness to help eg providing a modem in our room to access the internet but it was like staying somewhere that had closed down several weeks ago after the end of the season.
No hot water but by then we were ok with that.
They didn’t charge us the full amount so as a travel experience it was memorable. The lesson I suppose is when traveling out in the sticks enjoy it and go with the flow.

Vreselijk slecht, vergane glorie in oktober
Pros:

Na het zien van de foto's en de beschrijving van de service (ontbijtbuffet oa) waren onze verwachtingen vrij hoog. Bij aankomst bleken we de enige gasten te zijn, was het zwembad leeg en zag het hotel eruit alsof het al een jaar leegstond. We moesten zelf vragen om handdoeken, een afstandsbediening van de airco en een wifi kastje. Een ontbijtbuffet was er niet, we moesten zelf om ontbijt vragen. Na dit afgesproken te hebben kwam er de dag erna niemand. Navraag gedaan waarop we brood, kaas en jam kregen. Geen drinken. We hadden voor drie nachten geboekt, maar zijn na 2 nachten vertrokken. Snachts was er niemand aanwezig in het hotel. De tweede dag kwam er helemaal geen ontbijt en besloten we te vertrekken. We hebben het geld voor onze derde nacht terug geeist, dit kostte veel moeite, maar kregen we voor elkaar nadat we duidelijk gemaakt hadden dat er geen enkele service geboden was en we nogal wat geld betaald hadden voor niks. Een énorme teleurstelling. Dit hotel zou gesloten moeten worden in het naseizoen, schandalig om dit open te laten voor nietsvermoedende gasten.
De communicatie is overigens dramatisch gezien het weinige personeel dat je vindt geen engels spreekt.
