Returning to Shila feels a bit like stepping back into a beautiful dream.
Soft lighting, rich textures, and that quiet artistic spirit that fills every corner of the building.
The rooms remain immaculate, comfortably elegant with thoughtful details that make it easy to slow down and enjoy the space. The bed is wonderful, and everything feels carefully curated rather than simply arranged.
What truly makes the stay special is the warmth of the team. Adeelia and Aira once again went out of their way to make us feel welcome, always attentive and gracious, even surprising us with complimentary treats.
Some places are lovely to visit once. Shila is the kind of place that quietly invites you back to Athens again.

This is not just a hotel; it is a masterpiece of design and hospitality. I was deeply impressed by how the property preserves its original architecture while seamlessly integrating modern functionality into the rooms. The authentic furniture and creative architectural details, especially in the bathrooms, add a unique and charming character to the space. The high-tech lighting and sound systems were incredibly user-friendly and enhanced the comfort of our stay. However, what truly elevated our experience was the exceptional staff. They were genuinely warm, incredibly skillful, and had an amazing ability to anticipate our needs with proactive solutions.
There was absolutely nothing to dislike. Everything was simply extraordinary. The meticulous and thoughtful attention to detail in every single corner of the hotel was truly unbelievable and exceeded all our expectations.
Excellent location
This is such an special place, very calm and romantic. Our room had it's own courtyard, which was simply stunning. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was wonderful. We simply didn't want to leave and hope to stay again in the future!
Lovely friendly staff. Beautiful design and cosy intimate atmosphere. We had a garden suite and it was lovely to be able to sit outside in private
The bed being so high up was a bit strange and difficult to climb back into if you get up in the night.
A beautiful, thoughtful art boutique hotel experience. We loved finding all of the unique touches in our room. Loved the bathtub, rain shower, outdoor patio and rooftop breakfast. Or meals were filling and delicious. The team was excellent and on top of arranging transportation to the port and airport. We make it a point to stay in art hotels and Shila was top tier.
The breakfast was a lovely spread, I think the egg option was better than the yoghurt, you could dine on the roof top which was very pleasant.
The location of the hotel is an upscale area with lots of restaurants within easy reach and also easy access for sight seeing..we walked everywhere ,but we did use the metro for the airport which was super easy
some of the facilities ( the shower) are a little 'form over function" ..but overall we loved the stying
le petit déjeuner est un vrai stress on doit le commander 24h à l'avance car il n'y a pas de bar , de restaurant ni de service pour une chambre à ce prix , c'est tout simplement scandaleux!
le look destroy avec les trous dans les plafonds pour donner un genre, c'est franchement limite au niiveau fracheur et propreté, tout est vieux comme les tapis, tout fais sale sauf le lit qui est magnifique!
