Hotel eccezionale.
Pros:

Cons:

Ho comprato una collana subito prima del check out e l’ho pagata in contanti. Quando ero già lontano mi hanno chiamato per dirmi che si sono sbagliati e che il prezzo che mi avevano detto era solo per il ciondolo. E che avrei dovuto ancora 30 euro per la collana. E che dovevano addebitarlo via carta di credito. Secondo me era da evitare questa cosa.

Chic design combined with a welcoming, personal atmosphere
Pros:

Very chic and cool boutique hotel. Nicely renovated with intentional design. Very friendly staff. The breakfast was very nice with a personal feel. The personal touch makes it feel like you have your own little place in an apartment building.

Cons:

We stayed in the smaller room, which do not have a ton of extra space to unpack your luggage. It can be really hot in Athens in August.

Incredibly warm and well designed/decorated space that felt like home. Staff were knowledgeable and helped book busy
Pros:

The most thoughtfully designed hotel, massive rooms with so much character and delightful communal spaces that were spread out so it felt like you had the place to yourself. Bathrooms in particular are gorgeous.

Delightful small hotel with a wonderful authentic, old Athenian atmosphere.
Pros:

Wonderful quiet street in fabulous Kolonaki neighbourhood. Dreamy decor with great attention to detail. Staff have a lovely warm approach with a real personal touch. Extremely comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Fabulous roof terrace where delicious breakfast was served, lovely tranquil oasis in the heart of Athens.

Cons:

The bathrooms have a real issue with the open shower creating a very wet floor area which was also extremely slippery and somewhat a safety concern.

Substance and Style, this is a beautiful hotel run by lovey people.
Pros:

In our 7 weeks of travel in the UK, Greece and Italy The Shila is our favourite. It was like being welcomed into a gracious art deco home. Full of art and style. We were also given an upgrade - thank you. The staff, Era, Ada and lovely breakfast cook were beautiful to us. The rooftop breakfast was the best of our trip. I will dream of The Shila for a long time. Thank you

We absolutely loved our stay! The room interior is stunning—a rare blend of luxury and true coziness. The room itself is very spacious and incredibly comfortable to be in. The service was top-notch, and the staff paid great attention to every detail.
