Great Location !
Pros:

Location was perfect just a short walk from Fira center but quiet and away from the crowds, great spot with private terrace for a sunset. Wish we had more time to stay but already had plans to catch a ferry to another island. The staff was amazing and very accommodating arranging transport from the airport and to the port

Séjour unique et formidable
Pros:

Tout était parfait, l'accueil, les services, l'emplacement. Nous retenons surtout :
- les petits-déjeuners en terrasse avec l'éveil des rues de Fira (passage des ânes), la vue sur la Caldeira, le chant des oiseaux - la piscine commune avec bar et superbe vue et le jacuzzi en toute intimité dans la chambre
- l'emplacement le soir sur la terrasse face au coucher de soleil
- l'accueil de tout le personnel

Cons:

Rien. A noter juste que pour les personnes à mobilité réduite, les rues de Fira ne font que monter et descendre :)

Everything about our stay was spectacular!
Pros:

Our stay at Athina was very special. From the moment we arrived at Santorini airport to the moment we left. The staff were so welcoming and were incredibly helpful - helping us with luggage, advising us on restaurants, assisting with bookings and even having them on WhatsApp to do so was super helpful. The accommodation with our private terrace has to be one of the best places I have stayed - the view was priceless. Having breakfast delivered to our terrace every morning was wonderful.

Cons:

There is nothing I didn’t like.

Make sure you call and get the room you want/paid for! If not you may be dissapointed!!
Pros:

Location for walking around was nice and views were amazing!

Cons:

They mixed up our room and passed it off as the new owners did not know we wanted a certain room! By the time we checked in it was too late as all rooms were taken, the front desk tried to pass it off as a mix up and nothing they could do about it.
There is no way I would have booked a tiny little cave room for my 25th anniversary!!!! Very upsetting! A Cave suite and a Senior Signature Cave suite are def 2 different things and thats what I had booked.

Unica pecca: abbiamo chiesto di mangiare qualcosa e servizio top, ma il cabaret e i piatti non sono stati ritirati fino al giorno dopo, lasciati fuori dalla camera dove avevamo balcone e area relax. non è il massimo per il livello della struttura

Alles perfekt!
Pros:

Sehr gut, es war alles perfekt. Sehr freundliches Personal (egal ob Gepäckträger, Rezeption oder die, die das Frühstück aufs Zimmer bringen).
Frühstück kann am Vortag ausgesucht werden und wird zum gewählten Zeitpunkt direkt auf die Terrasse gebracht.
Whirlpools werden täglich überprüft und sind perfekt von der Temperatur.
Zimmer ist sauber und wie eine kleine kuschelige Höhle :).
Rezeption organisiert, wenn gewünscht Transporte auf Aufpreis ist jedoch jeden Cent wert. Die Männer die den Koffer transportieren, transportieren ihn vom Transport bis ins Hotel und umgekehrt.

Wir waren super zufrieden und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Ist sehr empfehlenswert!!!

Excellent resort
Pros:

Staff where very friendly and professional. Suite was spotless and food was amazing

Partly my fault that I booked cozy suite, very little room for storing clothes. Maybe more suited to a shorter stay than 7 days

Pros:

The sunsets are absolutely beautiful. The staff who delivered food were hardworking and friendly, although they occasionally forgot items. The breakfast was also very good. However, while the service was excellent on the first day, it gradually became worse as our stay went on.

Cons:

For anyone considering staying here, I’d like to share my experience. Overall, for €300 per night, you can definitely find a much better hotel. Here are the reasons:

Before check-in, the hotel does not proactively inform guests that the address listed on Booking.com is incorrect. You have to contact them yourself to figure out where to go.

The room shown in the photos is different from the actual room. The real accommodation feels more like a B&B, where several rooms are squeezed into a small shared space.

Both the indoor and outdoor pools are much smaller than they appear in the photos. They are only about the size of a small plunge pool and are not spacious at all.

During our four-night stay, we had multiple nights where we could not sleep because of noise outside the room. The rooms are extremely close together. We could hear our neighbors talking on the phone, and staff were constantly walking in and out nearby.

There is very little privacy. Staff have keys and can enter your room at any time. One afternoon, they entered while we were taking a nap and startled us awake.

Housekeeping threw away some of our personal belongings without our permission. When we reported it to the front desk, they simply said they would be more careful in the future. If you decide to stay here, I strongly recommend keeping valuables with you at all times.

The balcony outside the rooms is shared. One table is in front and another is behind, so not every guest gets the unobstructed view shown in the photos. You essentially have to take turns enjoying the view. There are also tourists and local teenagers passing through the area. Some of them even harassed guests staying here, and the staff did nothing to address the situation.

There were spider webs in the corners of the room, and at night we had to wake up to kill mosquitoes. The mosquitoes were a constant nuisance during our stay (June 2nd, summer season).

The room felt very damp and had a musty smell.

A brilliant stay overlooking the breathtaking cliffs of Fira and the Caldera.
Pros:

Amazing views of the Caldera from hotel facilities, such as the pool and bar as well as from our suite.
All staff were so welcoming and helpful and provided us with a welcome drink and snack served on our balcony suite.
The staff organised our transfers from the port and to the airport as well as any excursions we asked about. Porters were always friendly and available to assist with baggage after transfer drop off and pick up.
A lovely touch was having a delicious breakfast served each day on our balcony suite.
Could not fault this accommodation.

The perfect short getaway
Pros:

Athina Aperto suites is the perfect place to relax in Santorini for a few days. The location is great - next to ample restaurants and shops. Like other travellers have mentioned, the view from the suite was amazing and seeing the sunset each night from the comfort of our room was unmatched. The breakfast was a highlight for us because there were vast options and delicious every morning. Not only that, the staff were lovely and always there to help. I really couldn't recommend this place more!
