Heel charmant hotel met veel oog voor detail, zwembad groot genoeg om na warme dag op te frissen, ontbijt met alles erop en eraan, aangepast volgens eigen wensen (spek, eieren, slaatje, ..), heel vriendelijke host, lekkere hapjes bij de aperitief, goede bedden, badhandoeken ter beschikking,

Onze kamer was een beetje donker, we hadden gekozen voor de ruimte met jaccuzi en hier was het daglicht wat beperkt, maar dit was geen belet voor een fantastisch verblijf

Proprietario e staff disponibilissimo e super cortese. Sempre presenti e sempre un passo avanti alle nostre richieste. Colazione dolce e salata eccellente. Silenzio, pulizia. Cura nei dettagli dappertutto. Super consigliato.

A relaxing getaway with thoughtful touches and wonderful hospitality.
Pros:

What we loved most about this property was the peaceful location. It is set in a quiet area with lovely views of the surrounding traditional houses, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind.

We stayed in the penthouse suite with the private pool, so I can only comment on that room, but it was exceptionally comfortable. Having our own outdoor pool was a real highlight, especially during the summer. It offers plenty of privacy and is perfect whether you’re travelling as a couple or with your family.

One of my favourite features was the outdoor swing. It was such a charming addition and incredibly relaxing—perfect for reading, enjoying the sunshine, or simply unwinding while gently swinging back and forth.

The staff were wonderful throughout our stay. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed, making us feel genuinely well looked after.

Finally, the boutique hotel itself has a beautiful atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, it felt warm and inviting. It is clear that every decorative detail and design choice has been carefully considered. The owner has created a property with real character and charm, making the overall experience feel special rather than just another hotel stay.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay, so these are only minor points that could make the experience even better.

The room was generally clean, and I would rate the cleanliness around 8/10. There were a few areas that could have been cleaned a little more thoroughly. The private pool also had a number of dead insects when we first arrived. However, the terrace is surrounded by beautiful plants, so I completely understand that this is more difficult to manage, especially during the summer. By the second evening, the pool was noticeably cleaner. We also chose not to request housekeeping during our two-night stay, as we had everything we needed.

I really appreciated the toiletries provided. The hotel uses L’Occitane products, which are excellent quality. The slippers, bathrobes and towels were all clean, soft and plentiful, adding a lovely luxury touch.

One feature I feel is missing, especially considering the room category and price, is a microwave. Having a small kitchenette is very useful, but being able to reheat takeaway or leftovers would make it much more practical.

A couple of maintenance issues also stood out. One of the bedroom air-conditioning units worked well on the first day but began leaking water and blowing small pieces of ice on the second day. Thankfully, the air-conditioning unit near the kitchenette worked perfectly and kept the suite cool. A few of the bedside lamps were also not functioning. These are small details, but I believe they should be checked before guests arrive.

The breakfast was fresh, beautifully presented and the pastries were delicious. However, I personally didn’t feel it offered good value for the price. There were very few savoury options, with only a hard-boiled egg and a limited selection of other items. If you enjoy a more substantial or savoury breakfast, you may find the choice quite limited.

Struttura molto curata, massima attenzione ai dettagli, ottima pulizia, esperienza assolutamente positiva.

Cons:

Credo che i gestori della struttura dovrebbero inviare agli ospiti, prima dell' arrivo, indicazioni e istruzioni di parcheggio o anche semplici consigli su dove è più probabile trovare posteggio perchè l' ospite quando arriva e quando si trova in struttura fatica moltissimo a trovare posteggio. Io ho dovuto lasciare la macchina a 800 metri dalla struttura e non mi aspettavo tale difficoltà.

A very special thank you to the owners, Clive and his wife Liudmila, for their exceptional hospitality. Clive welcomed us warmly from the moment we arrived and was always smiling, friendly, and ready to help with anything we needed. He truly made us feel at home.

Everything at the hotel is thoughtfully organized with great attention to detail. The rooms are spotlessly clean and cleaned every day. They have everything you need for a comfortable stay. We also appreciated the complimentary beach towels and the sunscreen available for guests to use, which is such a thoughtful touch.

The hotel itself is absolutely stunning. Every corner reflects the love, effort, and passion that Clive and Liudmila have invested in creating this place. It is elegant, cozy, and full of character. We loved admiring the historical paintings, books, antique pieces, and countless beautiful decorative details throughout the hotel.

Breakfast was outstanding every single morning. Clive and the team prepared a delicious selection of freshly cooked eggs, crispy bacon, sausages, fresh vegetables, seasonal fruit, yogurt, pastries, cookies, and excellent freshly brewed coffee. There was always a wide variety of fresh, high-quality food, and everything was beautifully presented.

Another highlight was the lovely swimming pool. The water was always clean and refreshing, making it the perfect place to relax after exploring Malta.

Our overall experience was simply amazing. Thank you, Clive, Liudmila, and the entire team for your warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality!
