Art Gallery Hotel

Lots of shopping for those who like to shop. The room was quiet despite the central location.

The hotel is located within walking distance to the Acropolis Museum and the Parthenon and coffee shops and restaurants. Mysilia (most like spelled wrong) at the front desk was very helpful with directions and places to go and with anything we asked. She got us an Uber to the port too. The room is not fancy but was good for our needs. The AC worked well in the Athens heat. We got there before check-in and they were able to give us a room.

This is a unique property with gated, private courtyard. The location cannot be beaten as it is in the city center but a little off center which cuts down on noise. It's also walking distance to a major taxi stand so you won't need a car. The room was clean and comfortable and well tended. Highly recommend.

Very close to the Acropolis and lots of shops and restaurants. Loved the original features of the hotel. Gorgeous marble staircase. Friendly helpful staff.

The Hotel is 10 min walk from Acropolis Museum and archeological site. You can also walk to a lot of ancient cites from this location. Rooms have air conditioning and the lounge offers relaxing sitting area with a view of Acropolis.

Great location

I stayed here for my birthday back at the end of June and it was my first solo trip.
Coming from Canada was a VERY long and scary trip, but the staff was incredibly welcoming to me.
They cleaned the room daily which was so amazing. The breakfast (for €9 a day) was worth it every time to sit on the balcony with the staff and get ready for my days.
The hotel itself was beautiful and so clean. The room was quaint and perfect for my stay.
There is also A/C units!
All in all, if I could go back to Athens one day, I would stay here again.

Amazing location and very large room! Bathroom was a bit sketchy and no electricity (including a/c) when you're not in the room. Worth it for a couple days to be in the city centre and have a gorgeous view of the Acropolis!

It already acceptable among the grade. Only no good is the bathtub, it is too small that even a thin man like me is not will to turn around. 😜

Central location budget hotel. Does the job for a couple of days. Only issue was that they don’t provide duvets and the shower head didn’t have a holder

If you are looking for 5-star amenities, this is not the place for you. If you want a great location, good price, and super friendly staff, this is it. We absolutely loved the charming and cozy ambiance here, with so many different types of art on the walls. A book exchange is in a nook on the second floor. Our room opened to the street below, which could be a bit noisy if you are not used to city sounds. The staff here are wonderful and provided excellent service - and dinner recommendations. Walk to Plaka and the Acropolis Museum in only a few short blocks. I would absolutely stay here again if I return to Athens.

Super friendly staff learning a lot about the family and the history. The neighborhood had great restaurants, near by post office, grocery store, and pharmacy. There is a view of the Acropolis from the 4th floor balcony.
