Perfect for a base from which to visit the Carlsbad Caverns
Pros:

The hotel was well placed on the edge of Carlsbad for heading out to the Carlsbad Caverns (a 20 minute drive away). The rooms were modern and clean. Staff were friendly. Everything was very efficient.

Cons:

Nothing - it was perfect for a one night pitstop on the way to the Caverns.

Convenient, good price and roomy stay and fresh apples at the counter to welcome you with water.
Pros:

Breakfast is well praised, you can tell the staff take pride in their work and presentation. All staff members friendly and provided great feedback to restaurants near by.

Cons:

no traffic light to cross over a two lane, traffic was fairly busy when we arrived. Parking was sufficient and well let up at night. We appreciate that!

Great location for National Parks trip
Pros:

Great location for access to Carlsbad Caverns NP and Guadalupe Mountains NP. Newer property with clean and comfortable room, along with morning breakfast included that made our stay so easy.
