Mediocre at best …
Pros:

Very disappointed with this hotel.

The tone was set when I checked in. Reception staff were not particularly friendly or welcoming - no hellos or welcome to the Grand Hyatt - they seemed bored and just going through the motions of their jobs, which is a pity as they are the first interaction you have with the hotel.

Rooms are functional but faded and old and need an update. Furniture in the room is basic and there are no desks in the room which was surprising. Bathroom was OK - no bath just a shower.

Luckily I had a high room which meant the sound/noise of the trains going past the hotel were less of an issue for me. My colleague who had a room on a lower floor complained about the noise. The train tracks are right next to the hotel so it is important to ask for a high room.

I wanted to get room service - but decided against it as there was only choice of one entree. A chicken dish was the only choice. The other hotel restaurants were uninspiring. The club lounge was nice and the staff there were friendly and helpful.

In short this is an uninspiring hotel not focussed on customer service. It excels at being mediocre. It is basic and functional but don’t expect more.

Music city vibes
Pros:

Awesome hotel. Very friendly staff. It’s in a great location. Only a few blocks up from downtown and all the action. Will definitely stay here next time I’m in Nashville.

Lovely central hotel
Pros:

Lovely modern hotel really close to lower Broadway. Pool area was lovely to relax by in the afternoon and the gym was very well equipped.

Amazing!
Pros:

The property had a rooftop bar, pool, fitness center, a lounge for breakfast and snacks throughout the day. It was absolutely amazing!

Simple not worth the money!!
Pros:

Staff was awesome!! Bed very comfortable

Cons:

Bathroom sucked!!! Shower wouldn't work very well!! Pressure for nice warm shower was terrible!!! Had better showers at c rated hotel! The room service menu was terrible but good for kids! Offered no nice dinners.

Great Customer Service
Pros:

I left my jacket on the chair during the evening hors d’oeuvres and the next morning I went down there and Xavier when I explained what happened, went and found it for me and brought it to me:). He was very kind and accommodating!!

Top of Broadway
Pros:

One of the BEST Hotels I have ever stayed in. Friendly people, great service and a fantastic location at the top of Broadway with a great view from your room on the Broadway side.

Good hotel but needs improving.
Pros:

Room cleaning was not acceptable.
We came back to our room twice and it hadn’t been made. We had to ask twice for our room to be made up.

3 star hotel falsely claiming it is 5 stars
Pros:

Clean and comfortable.

Cons:

Concierge ends day before dinner. We wanted advice on restaurants but ended up with reprinted list. For a hotel positioning itself as top tier, this was very disappointing.

Like many others, I felt the parking was overpriced
