The room is beautiful, clean and large. The location in the old city is great. The pool is functional and sweet and well decorated
Before we arrived, we were offered either a sofa bed for our toddler or extra bed for 800bht/night. We said that the sofa is fine, but when we arrived, at first they refused to give us extra linen and towel for the sofa bed even though we booked the room for 3. We thought it was a weird service and didn't argue much, and after 10 min they changed their mind and provided them, but it left a bed taste. After that incident, the service was very kind and sweet.
There is no closet space (or very little) or enough hangers in the room and the shower water turned from hot to cold unexpectedly multiple times. the air-conditioning stopped working one night and they came to fix it and the temperature could not be regulated (or at least it didn't feel like)
Twice we returned to our room and found the safe open. The first time, we thought this was our fault, but then it happened again on the same day after we double checked it before we left. We don't know how many BHT we left there so we don't know if anything was missing, and everything else (passports, dollars, tablet) was there. Maybe malfunction of the safe? it looks fine to us and we didn't have issues in the first few days. We didn't say anything because it was our last day, but felt very uncomfortable overall.
In addition, the entire place was full of signs about things you should not do. we didn't see it anywhere else in Thailand. Maybe they had a bad experience with others, but that didn't help us feel comfortable either...
All in all, a cute place, good price, but weird vibes.

The staff was really friendly, which we appreciated.
The stay was generally pleasant, but the cleanliness of the bathroom could really use some improvement. There was noticeable buildup and mold between the tiles, which could easily be cleaned with some bleach. It’s a small detail, but it makes a big difference in how fresh and well-maintained the space feels. Hopefully, this can be addressed for future guests.
Like many reviews I’ve read before. The staff are so nice and friendly. So welcoming and always happy when you pass by the desk.
The rooms at first glance appear basic. But they have everything you really need. They have loads of room for storage and luggage etc. They are clean and airy. I stayed in two different rooms and both had comfortable beds and both were super clean. The pool area is really nice and reserved for hotel residents. Sometimes you get the odd person coming in from next door but I didn’t see it happen often. There is numerous bars and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. I would definitely stay in this hotel again when I visit Chiang Mai again.

Very good location
Forgot to hang the sign to clean the room but asked the receptionist to arrange cleaning. Room however was not cleaned when we came back by the end of the day. After mentioning the new receptionist however changed the basics in our room.
