Nice hotel

The staff was most welcoming, generous and amenable. No matter what we requested they went out their way to accommodate us both with drink and food. The location is approx 1.5km from Town but it’s a flat walk.I would duly stay there again based on the aspect of value for money . Many thanks

Less than zero charm. Not very clean. Very little hot water. Clumsy staff. Breakfast was ok. Worst hotel so far on our 10 days family trip in Sri Lanka. Pretty noisy outside, bad sound proofing. We did not dare to try the dinner. Shame on Shanti travel for booking us there.

Very clean and very well mannered staff

We stayed 3 nights in this lovely boutique hotel and we were very happy overall. The staff was very attentive although not all members could speak or understand English well. What we enjoyed the most was the food, excellent breakfast and most meals very good too. We spent more time than planned in the hotel since it rained heavily every day. Room was comfy and we slept well, maybe bathrooms can be improved since quite cold due to the fan being directly open to the outside. Location was also good since we easily walked to the centre of town in around 10/15 minutes.

Lovely staff, hotel is a little out of the way from everything.

This hotel truly stands out as one of the most remarkable accommodations we experienced during our travels in Sri Lanka. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a refreshing welcome drink—a much-needed treat after enduring an eight-hour car journey to reach the hotel. This thoughtful gesture was deeply appreciated and set a positive tone for our stay. The reception staff, in particular, left a lasting impression with their exceptional service and friendly demeanour as they guided us to our suite on the second floor.
The following morning, we eagerly made our way to breakfast, and we were met with an experience beyond compare. The service we received was unparalleled, with a wide array of offerings ranging from sandwiches and traditional Tamil breakfast items to fragrant rice and flavorful curries. Each dish tasted as if it were prepared with care and attention, reminiscent of home-cooked meals.
However, what truly made our breakfast experience memorable was the outstanding service provided by Janith and Praveen. Among them, Praveen stood out as a beacon of hospitality, going above and beyond to accommodate our every request and ensuring that our stay was nothing short of exceptional. His attentiveness and dedication to ensuring our satisfaction made him a favorite among our family, leaving a lasting impression that enhanced our overall enjoyment of our time at the hotel.

Nice small boutique hotel with good rooms and view, friendly staff , good food , located just couple of kms from town centre . Lake and garden is walkable around 1 km . Rooms are spacious with all morden amminities
As it's small hotel , no supplementary things like a garden or swimming pool

Excellent service, great food, clean and good location

The staff from the very first moment were so friendly and helpful, this is a short 15 minute walk outside of the main hub of Nuwara Eliya but this is very walkable.

The room was gorgeous, excellent air con, nice facilities and views over Gregory Lake.

The breakfast was good but the food did not stop coming! Very large breakfast but sets you up for the day of exploring ahead.
