A decent place to stay in Apia
Pros:

The staff are super friendly and helpful. The parking is free, the beds are comfortable, the wifi works well, and the water is warm. The breakfasts are really good.

Cons:

We often didn’t get fresh towels each day unless we asked, and the cleaning crew would forget to refill the coffee in the room. The TV didn’t work and the elevator was often not working either. The hotel’s airport shuttle costs more than a private taxi.

Enjoyed the Lava
Pros:

Enjoyed the room, clean and had hot water that was magic. Bed is very comfortable. AC was great in the heat. Staff were awesome, very friendly and helpful.
Pool was clean and well maintained. Food is good.

Cons:

Shame they don't have their own shuttle so they don't charge so much for pick up and drop off. Shower floods so have to change towels every day which is a waste.

Cons:

As part of the check-in process, my passport was taken by reception to be scanned. It was not returned to me afterwards. When I realised my passport was missing, I returned to reception twice to ask for assistance, but I was not given any meaningful help or informed that my passport was in their possession.
It was only on my third visit to reception, after I offered a monetary reward for anyone who could help locate it, that my passport was finally returned to me. I then discovered that my passport had been sitting at reception all along.
What is particularly concerning is that nobody thought to contact my room to let me know that they had my passport. I had spent an entire day believing that my passport was missing and was preparing to go through the stressful and expensive process of applying for an emergency travel document, when the passport was actually in the hotel’s possession.

Perfect!
Pros:

Food and drink were amazing! Staff were also extremely helpful and accomodating.

Cons:

We had issues with outside noise from our room but were very quickly assisted and moved within the hour. No complaints otherwise
