Pleasant, Comfortable Hotel Though a Little Overpriced
Pros:

Wonderful, helpful staff. Good location. Nicely appointed, comfortable rooms and good-size swimming pool. The public areas are all open-air with landscaping giving it a great tropical ambiance.

Cons:

Too expensive considering the smallish size of the rooms and just-okay buffet breakfast.

Pros:

Pool and steaks at the restaurant. Very friendly staff!

Cons:

Almost doesn’t feel like you’re in Samoa. A very generic and sterile hotel with not much character but to it.

It was awesome. My room is very clean and my bed was neatly made
Pros:

I asked poached eggs on toast with grilled mushrooms and grilled tomatoes, the waiter came with poached eggs nearly raw, creamy mushrooms which I didn’t asked for and no grilled tomatoes

Cons:

Listen to the customer, don’t be nervous when taking the orders from customers and a bit more variety of the continental breakfast eg baked beans, boiled eggs, grilled mushrooms and tomatoes , avocados and more fruit on the buffet

It was ok. Some of the staff were exceptionally helpful.
Pros:

The first day I had to pay for breakfast even it was included with accommodation.
Location of foods was not very good- not visible.
The food was ok

Cons:

What I didn’t like was no explanation of how and where the breakfast table was located.
Language barrier. They are quick to charge you for the next day’s accommodation when you have not slept there yet.

Pros:

Location is perfect. Pool is perfect for kids and great vibe in foyer/ restaurant area. We had a wonderful stay. Highly recommended!

Staying at Lava is our go to now! We’ve stayed all over, however Lava are so much more accessible and the friendly staff
Pros:

Everything! The fact it was perfect for my Elderly Father, accessible to the restaurant & Carpark. Just very well thought out. Not to mention the Service & Great hospitality the staff showed us.

Cons:

There was nothing to not like - the only minor issue we had was the interconnecting doors weren’t open as lock was somewhat jammed. However it was not a biggie, the friendly staff made up for it.

Pros:

Location great for taxis, buses, town.

Cons:

Not really beach that close - its a quay. Taxi pick up didnt bring Lava Hotel sign which i was expecting so hung around and called the Hotel to find they were already there but with the name of the taxi firm which wasnt told to me so a little room for improvement.

Ikke god nok organisering og informasjon. Ikke særlig spennende mat. Dårlig valuta form prisnivået.
Pros:

Hyggelig betjening som gjorde sitt ytterste innenfor det litt uorganiserte systemet de jobbet i.

Cons:

Dårlig informasjon om fasiliteter og begivenheter på hotellet og i nærområdet. For eksempel var det tilfeldig at jeg opplevde at det var folkedans og buffe middag den kvelden jeg ankom. Her var det også en kuvert pris som samsvarte dårlig med særlig mattilbudet.
