The Embassy Valletta Hotel

We arrived for a week’s stay on 14th July and received a wonderful welcome from Aby! We were delighted to be offered a cold glass of Cava and although we were checking in very early, are bags were taken and were waiting for us in our room once it was ready. We said we would like to try the roof bar whilst we waited, and she came to let us know are room was ready. This exceptional service continued throughout our stay!

We were on the second floor and our room was fantastic. Spacious, extremely clean, great storage, wonderful bathroom and a great fridge with complimentary drinks. Air con was perfect and experienced no noise whatsoever.

We visited the roof top bar every evening and the views are stunning . We also ate at the rooftop restaurant - 100% recommend (please see separate review). Lucia and her team went above and beyond for us - truly made our stay magical, thank you 🙏

I did partake in the midnight swim open to guests which was truly memorable with such a wonderful ambience and stunning view.

The hotel is so well situated to explore Valletta and will be returning very soon!

After a bit of research, we decided to make the trip to the capital for our final meal of the holiday—and we’re so glad we did!

The location is simply stunning, overlooking the dome and the beautiful skyline of the historic city of Valletta. We arrived at 7:30pm, which was the perfect time to watch the sunset. The views alone made the visit worthwhile.

The food was delicious, the cocktails were excellent, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and professional throughout.

It’s the combination of the incredible views, fantastic atmosphere, and great food that makes this place a must-visit if you’re ever in Valletta. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.

The staff are exceptional . Cool, calm ultra helpful and charming. The manager even took us all the way to a restaurant when we couldn’t get into the restaurant upstairs for dinner

Just spent a week at the Embassy Hotel Valletta with my husband. Overall we had a pleasant week food and service was good.
Location very good, centrally located.
Unfortunately, there are some negatives that will stop us returning to the Embassy hotel Valletta;
The hotel had an unpleasant smell, they try their best to mask it with air fresheners but we could still smell it.
The bedding was discoloured, had a roughness to it and made us feel itchy. I did ask for a replacement but that was the same. The bed was also very uncomfortable, we had aching backs by the end of the week.
The soundproofing is very poor, we could hear guests in the adjacent rooms.
The pool area was very small and very tightly packed, it didn’t feel comfortable. Couldn’t find space to use it once all week! This was a huge disappointment as this was one of the reasons we picked this hotel.

What a wonderful place especially if you are celebrating. Chosen for the view / location but surprised how exceptional the food was as well. Amazing service. Couldn’t fault our evening

I had a wonderful stay at The Ambassy Valleta Hotel Malta. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the island and enjoy nearby restaurants, shops, and attractions. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything I needed. They made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and offered everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Malta and would be happy to stay here again.

First and foremost, the staff were amazing and could not be more helpful, especially the rooftop guys, they were working so hard, making sure guests were taken care of and nothing was missed.

The location was excellent and the rooms were of high quality, especially the bed, shower and television for late night viewing after a long day sightseeing.

My slight reservations in giving a four star not a five star review was due to the noise that could be heard from the street at night, although this was predominantly on a weekend evening.

Also due to the size of the rooftop, there were limited sunbeds for use which led to times where you would need to stand and wait, which is not ideal when on a tight schedule.

Overall our trip to Malta was great and I would recommend staying at this hotel, just need to get those room sound proofed.

The hotel its self is very beautiful and well maintained. Also the Manager Aleksandar is above and beyond. Very professional and kind guy.

This hotel was simply amazing. Firstly, the location does not get any better! You are right in the heart of Valletta, yet you are not in a main square, so it was not too noisy, and you could access so many of the highlights of Valletta in a short walk. The hotel staff were so friendly and kind. Any time we were in the elevator or saw a staff member on our floor, they were smiling and asked how we were. The room we had was perfect. It has a balcony with a gorgeous view of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel church (and the water!). The bed was great, the shower and bathroom were wonderful, and the air conditioning was ideal (we all know that some hotel scrimp by turning off the AC during the middle of the night. Not here. The AC ran perfectly all through the day and night, which helped in the intense summer heat!) The staff who cleaned our room were some of the best we have ever experienced. The were incredibly prompt and had our room cleaned right after we left for the day, and they were thorough with their cleaning as well. The rooftop pool was just jaw dropping. We spent almost every evening up there cooling off, having a drink, and taking in the stunning views. Check in and check out were both easy, and our stay overall was both comfortable and memorable. My wife and I have stayed in many hotels all over the world, and this one ranks as one of our top experiences!

While I didn’t stay at this hotel, I did have lunch in their rooftop restaurant and it was amazing:

- Location is perfect! Right in the heart of Valletta and it offers stunning views of the old town. You can also enjoy the sight of the pool, but I had lunch inside because it was windy.

- Staff were extremely professional. From the lady at the reception to the waiters. Every single one of them.

- Food was extremely extremely delicious and I was more than satisfied.

Location is excellent. Staff is super friendly. There was a small misunderstanding with the room but they made it right and I respect them for that. The rooms are excellent, the showers spacious with good pressure, perfect for short or longer stays. The rooms were very clean. Would stay again.

Loved the decor of the rooms. Very friendly and helpful reception staff and the rooftop pool is a lovely bonus!

Embassy Valetta Hotel is in a really good location in central Valetta.
It wad quiet, clean and well staffed.
The rooftop pool and restaurant amazing views. You will need to book for restaurant as very popular.
Could not fault anything and would highly recommend.

No complaints, Room lovely Air con no noise, room must be sound proof no noise from upstairs rooms. Food good breakfast choice very good. Hotel staff went out of there way to help you. Very clean room service. Lovely touch after a morning out and about back to hotel cool off in roof top pool nice cocktail and then Water melon slice provided by Hotel. what can you say. If you want dinner at the Hotel book roof top it gets very busy. Front house reception a joy to speak to staff, one young lady was so helpful and took real ownership of every thing we asked or needed well done Erine.
