The room was comfortable & spacious. Good quality linen & towels, and a good tv.
The room had a bath with a hand-held shower - not ideal for us older guests. There was no bar or restaurant, despite the listing saying there was. We were only informed of this once we had paid for the room - we wouldn’t have chosen this hotel had we known. Our booking was for a Sunday - it would have been useful to know there was nowhere in Lamphey or the sister pub to the hotel, that would be serving food after 4pm, which meant driving to find somewhere. The included breakfast was cereal, yogurt, fruit & toast, which was all self-service. There were no staff on-site - communication was via text.
New owner v chatty at bfast
Obviously what was once a hotel is now coded entry and self service bfast
After long days cycling and nite in Tenby the lounge was v comfortable like having house to myself
Plenty nibbles in lounge and bar fridge and comfy bed
Perfect for cycling Pembrokeshire and no parking problems of Tenby
Chatted to new owner and suggested they put bike storage and bike battery charging point and advertised in cycling websites CTC etc
Wud make a great cycling center location with a bit of thought
The new owner has another hotel in Tenby and pub closed by
Very interesting chap
On going building work scrapping old paint off gable end with lots of flaked paint left on ground next to garden chairs and table
Empty rear of building once a restaurant now awaiting new tenants for Italian restaurant
Once it's up and running it ll be great
Will be interesting to return and see what the new owner can achieve in the current high fuel people not travelling situation
Friendly staff and the location is superb and closer to all the beaches
Everything is perfect
The room was large and the bed was comfortable. A quiet, clean, well equipped room in a good location for us. The continental breakfast was very nice.
It was a little shabby.
It was quiet at night.
Undergoing building work so no restaurant. When the new bar is finished it will be very good I feel sure.
The room was a generous size and bed was comfortable. Sky tv in the room was a nice touch (when it worked). Breakfast, although nothing fancy, was well stocked and complimentary. Location was a good base if you are able to drive to explore more of Pembrokeshire
The WiFi connection in the room was terrible (which meant that the sky tv also didn’t work great the whole time). When we arrived, in one of the bed side tables were a pair of socks and men’s boxer shorts. Made me question the cleanliness of everything else (although the rest of the room did seem pretty clean)
Spacious rooms, comfortable beds and beautifully decorated in keeping with the house
Couldn’t find anything wrong with it
Ease of check in
Would of preferred information prior to booking regarding breakfast options.
Lounge spacious and comfortable
Soulless no human contact and quite run down in places
Breakfast was poor with little fresh milk, crockery and damp cereal
Phone call with receptionist prior to arrival after we got text message to say your key was in the bedroom door and this is the code to get in the front door, and you are on the first floor, no lift! We requested the ground floor as we can not climb stairs. Ground floor was arranged via phone by Niamh, who was very helpful re this, but when we arrived, it just was not an acceptable room, and we left and went onto Pembroke.
Carpark was not easy to drive into, and it was empty, not one car. There was a fusty smell in building/hallway, the booking-in system was via key code front door, felt like air bnb stay rather than hotel. There was no bistro, bar, or restaurant. In fact, we thought it was closed or we were in the wrong place. There are no great steps to entrance from carpark.
Also, the outside area was poor, and paving was in need of repair as cement had come away and was lying on top of paving, which you could easily trip over. Really disappointed by this hotel. The first time this has happened with booking.com stay, and we travel and book often.
Peaceful and quite.

THE HUGE CAR PARK. THE VIEW OF THE CHURCH. THE ROOM AND THE FACILITIES INSIDE. TEA, COFFEE AND BISCUITS. THE COFFEE LOUNG AND DINING AREA. THE CHOICES FOR CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST. THE FACT IT WAS CLOSE TO THE CHURCH AND CHURCH HALL.
A CONCERN FOR THE FISH IN THE POND AS THE WEATHER WAS SNOWY AND ICY.
