Pros:

The staff was very kind and helpful. They even offered to drop me at train station.

Cons:

There is a high ramp, if you have luggage you should consider that. Except that the bed was not comfortable, it was too harsh. I laid extra blanket to sleep.

Pros:

有足夠的停車位，入住和贈送放天燈民宿都有工作人員親切的協助，園區可以散步也可以小玩一下。

Cons:

停完車要走路去十分老街很方便，但回程的時候要爬坡健身累了點。

So welcoming, smiling staff. Great location for walking to Shifen Falls or Shifen station.
Pros:

SUCH friendly kind staff! So encouraging and welcoming and patient and smiling.

Cons:

It was good! We had the family room and it was large and comfortable and clean and the shower was great. One thing that would have been nice would be a little reading light or small lamp. The overhead lights were very bright and it would be nice to have the option for softer light.

Clean comfortable stay in a good basic hotel for good value.
Pros:

Large property with beautiful landscaping, would be great for families with two pools and interesting play equipment for children. Room was clean and spacious with a great view over the valley. It’s close to the Shifen Waterfall, which you can easily walk to. The owner was very helpful and friendly. They supplied a cooked breakfast and asked when we wanted it.

Cons:

It’s outside of the town - good for going to the waterfall but longer to get to restaurants. If you’re walking, it’s up a very steep hill. The owner is willing to provide a shuttle service.

Pros:

乾淨的環境 非常好的服務 好棒的天燈 水量大且溫度穩定 乾濕分離 很多停車格

Cons:

可惜是舊式的喇叭鎖跟鏈條鎖 希望能有電子鎖跟房卡（當然費用可能難以負擔🥲，那我寧願選擇其他優點）有點難調的冷氣暖氣（或許只是當天溫度不對） 有點冷清的十分老街（建議4.5點前就去逛不然6點收攤收了差不多了）

Good location and breakfast, but popular place, hence the price tag. During weekends expect hearing kids from other room
Pros:

Location great, close to the Shifen waterfalls. Breakfast was also great a lot of vegetarian/vegan options given it was in Taiwan, where this is very scarce.

Cons:

I do not mind kids at a hotel, but taiwanese seem to stay up late even with the kids and the walls and doors are not exactly soundproof. Also compared to the rest of Taiwan, the price was pretty high, I guess due to the fact, that Shifen waterfalls are really famous.
