Categories

Cleanliness
7.8
Mostly praised—rooms, lobby and exterior were often described as clean—but isolated, significant incidents reported (hair in shower; urine stains on pillowcases) that lowered overall confidence.
Service
9.5
Frequently described as friendly, hospitable and attentive (warm greetings, helpful front desk). A few service misses noted (no manager call, early check-in denied, pre-charging before advising pool outage) but positives dominate.
Location
9.2
Consistently praised for convenience—close to event venues, shopping, hospital and restaurants; well-suited for stopovers and weddings.
Room Quality
7.9
Rooms generally clean and well maintained with comfortable beds, but multiple guest issues (no blackout curtains, malfunctioning TV, persistent cold, corridor noise) reduced the score.
Amenities
7.5
Breakfast and pool are notable amenities; breakfast receives strong praise, but pool reliability/hours were problematic (out of order, early closing) and reduced guest satisfaction.
Value for Money
8.5
Most guests felt the stay offered good value, though one guest noted prices seemed high for the area; overall perceived as fair value.
Food and Beverage
9.3
Breakfast repeatedly described as excellent, tasty and well-managed; a small number of comments mentioned limited breakfast selections.
Overall Experience
8.3
Generally positive overall: ease from booking to checkout, friendly staff, clean property and convenient location; isolated cleanliness and amenity/service issues tempered some stays.

The people and cleaniness made this a pleasant stay
Pros:

I like the staff, they weren't afraid to pay you the greeting of the day. One of them even bowed. It reminded me of being in Japan—people bow to each other over the phone there. I liked that we had fresh clean towels and all the bathing and washing toiletries were provided. I liked the complementary breakfast. Very tasty and well-done. The breakfast area was kept clean and so was the hotel in general. I think it was a comfortable stay.

Cons:

I did not like that our room had no curtains to shut out the daylight, the public, or the parking lot lights. I brought my eye mask, but for my special needs son, he had to suck it up because of sensory issues with a sleep mask. I don't like that the room stayed cold even after we put the thermostat on 83⁰. And lastly... Personally, I did not like that I could not set up an early check-in. If I am paying for incidentals, I should also be able to pay for any early check-in at least 24hrs in advance.

Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

We got to the property and the front desk ran my card before telling me the pool was out of order. We chose this property because of the indoor pool. We cancelled the reservation and went to a different hotel. Still waiting on our refund.
