Cons:

There wasn’t much control over the AC/Heat system. You were either really cold or really hot!

Warm and welcoming
Pros:

I had an exceptional experience after a long day of travel. Carrie greeted me with a warm welcome, and a pleasant conversation. I travel for work and will stay here everytime I’m in Porter’s Neck. Keep up the great work Carrie- you are the best!

A Great Value!
Pros:

This hotel will be our new go-to whenever we require accommodations in Wilmington. I really appreciated it when the front desk agent personally called me to offer me a free upgrade.

• Friendly front desk staff
• Grind-and-Brew coffee machines available 24/7 in lobby
• Breakfast (new, improved biscuits!)
• Close proximity to dining and shopping
• Well maintained room and amenities
• Quiet

Cons
• Breakfast attendant and housekeeping staff did not appear to enjoy being there.
• Breakfast was on point one day, but the next, biscuits which had cooled and hardened looked like they were just thrown in the food pan.

That it was by all the food places

Cons:

The supervisor was very rude I was there celebrating my husband birthday me my kids and sister and we knew my sister couldn’t stay but soon as we got in the room the supervisor came in and was like she had to charge up for everybody that was in the room

Always something on every visit. One time soaked carpet from a/c. This time, e had to make our own bed, put towels and all bathroom shampoo/ lotion products away, no trash bags. Could smell the weed from the neighbor in the next room.

Carri is great.
Pros:

Carri, the front desk attendant, was excellent. She made me feel right at home. She was very personable and asked several times if I was good and if I needed anything. I am going to come back to Porters Nexk because of Carri.
