The elevators were not in service and we had tons of luggage the front desk did not tell us the elevators weren’t working
Location, location, location! Our view of the lake was amazing. Unexpected bonus was fireworks. We didn’t realize they did this Wednesday and Saturday. The room was quiet, clean, large, and comfortable. We slept well after exploring Chicago.
They were super nice and such a beautiful amazing looking hotel
That The rooftop wasnt open later on the weekends
Everything!
Traffic
The room was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The TV was easy to work and there was a Keurig and a small refrigerator in the room. I loved the big bathroom and shower (no tub). There is a dresser and a place to hang clothes. Plenty of space!
There are three bays of the hotel. We stayed in the middle bay 2 (bay 3 is farthest toward end of the pier). Self park is cheaper but a farther walk from the garage. We opted to valet (which has in and out privileges included).
You cannot go wrong with any view of the lake in this hotel, all rooms face the lake. There was even a little seated bench in the window like a bay seat. This was wonderful to sit and look at the city skyline at night.
When you take the elevator down there are restaurants, a food court, vending machines, and shops all conveniently inside the pier. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this hotel.
The view of the lake from my room
I liked everything

WE COULDNT GET TO OUR HOTEL SO HAD TO PARK 2 MILES AWAY AND CARRY OUR 8 YEAR OLD AND LUGGAGE TO AND FROM THE HOTEL THROUGH HORRIBLE TRAFFIC. BOOKING.COM NEVER EMAILED US ON WHAT TO DO TO ACTUALLY GET TO HOTEL SO WE ENDED UP MISSING EVERYTHING WE DROVE 5 HOURS TO DO. TOOK US ANOTHER 4-5 HRS TO GET FROM GARAGE TO HOTEL, MADE IT IN TIME TO GO TO SLEEP ABSOLUTE MISERABLE TIME
The location was excellent
Hotel has gorgeous views of the city. But I was there for a conference and they erroneously charged me for a breakfast ($26) and claimed I ate a meal outside of what was provided by the conference. Took me 3 calls and numerous messages which went unreturned to finally get a manager on the phone who lied to me and told me that we already discussed the charge and that I would be stuck paying it because “several people in my group ate breakfast outside of the conference.” Excuse me?!?! Now I’m waiting for someone from the accounting department to “see what they can do.” Yeah. No. I’m not paying for their incompetence. This happened to a few other people in our group as well. I’ve filed a complaint with Hilton corporate. Beware.
The views were awesome!

We booked including breakfast. The voucher provided to us only covered half of the effektive costs.
4th time there, it's ALWAYS AMAZING♥️
Nothing
Great Hilton property. On the end of the pier so no walkable great restaurants for dinner. But when it’s hot, you can walk in the interior corridors all the way to the mall area. We got a corner room with a great view of downtown and the lake. Very spacious room and good walk in shower.
While this hotel is sort of 'out there' - towards the very end of the long pier, it is a lovely property and quite unusual. The rooms are great - we were in room 1703 - so top floor. Ask for a room on the 6th or 7th floor for really nice views. The bed was VERY comfortable, the property is quiet, and the shower is one of the best I have every experienced.
