Pros:

The rooms are more of entry type hotel, with simple essentials throughout. Liked the Greek yogurt and fruits. The hotel is not far from airport. Also shuttle operate once per hour.

Pros:

Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. You can buy beer and water in the lobby. Not a bad walk to the T, despite staff implying it was very far. Just go past the side of the church, take a left, then a right at the 7-11 and it's down the road right ahead of you.

Cons:

Breakfast in name only, but I wasn't expecting anything other than a decent cup of coffee. The coffee was ok once I found a convenience store and bought my own cream. The only "milk" on offer was half and half or 2 percent, neither of which I find acceptable.
Despite Hilton Hotels having a regular shuttle bus stop right outside the baggage carousel area Avid does not, "due to the contruction." Not good enough. There should be a phone to call for the shuttle and a regular stop. My foreign phone could not get through to Avid and I paid fifty dollars to get to the hotel by taxi.
There are annoying pin point flashing lights on the ceiling of the room that seem to be tracking your movements when you get up at night. Very annoying, very creepy, and the reason I probably will not return to this hotel.

Great stay but not enough parking.
Pros:

The front desk worker was very friendly. We got in late after our flight and he was very welcoming. The hotel was nice inside. Bed was comfortable.

Cons:

There is not enough parking. We had to park at the oil place behind the hotel. Luckily there was ONE spot left.

Not much sleep ask for a room near the back of the hotel if you want to sleep
Pros:

Nice location 20 mins from airport, as we arrived on a late night flight.

Cons:

Noise. There was music playing all night. Thought it was another guest. Spoke to receptionist in the morning as she said they switch off the music at night. But when leaving the speaker was blaring outside the front entrance as it had been when we checked in at 12.45 am the previous night.

Great & Cost Effective Hotel Close to Boston & Logan Airport
Pros:

I am a tour director and recently stayed at the Avid in with my group. This is the first time I have used this brand. It is conveniently located in Revere 11 minutes from the airport and close to all the major Boston attractions. Checking in was easy. Rooms are modern and spotless. Breakfast was good and served in the lobby. Service was efficient and pleasant. Importantly, beds were VERY comfortable enabling a good night of sleep. Also it has an airport shuttle that starts extremely early. I would highly recommend the Avid Hotel for a cost-effective stay just outside of Boston!
