Fantastic stay in the New Forest - highly recommend for a country stay.
Pros:

Everything! Great location for walking trails, the restaurant served tasty food, and the service was so lovely - everyone was nice!

Cons:

A program in the room outlining local to-do's information/ reconfirming dining experience would be helpful. Also, there is no hair dryer in the unit. I would have appreciated that touch!

An ideal base to meet my cousins for a short break.
Pros:

Amazing choices for cooked breakfast.
Interesting and tasty dinner menu with nice pub atmosphere.
Location right by nice country walks.

Cons:

I’d have liked some more fruit available for breakfast and the tea was rather weak.

Pros:

The breakfast was amazing and also the staff were lovely too. Nothing was too much trouble. The only reason it was a little noisy was that there were some dogs in the other room. The hotel however put us in the furthest room so that was good. It didn’t make any difference to us as we enjoyed our stay at the Filly In. We have stayed several times before. Great food great staff and fabulous location.

Cons:

Nothing

The fact he knew there was a hygiene problem he still thought its ok to put guests in there !
Pros:

To be fair the staff in restaurant and bar staff, house keeping were lovely I give them a 9.👍

Cons:

We were given a room that had a strange smell to it once we walked in but we thought it probably go and left our bags and went for drinks but when we came back it was not good and a lot stronger, because cut was late we put up with it, but next morning we reported it to staff, apparently it was known to have hygiene problem with the main drainage
Why would you put guests in there,The young lady moved us which was ok
My main point was the manager said you can have a couple drinks on the house and something to eat and to be honest I thought he wasn’t even bothered about putting us in the room in the first place ! That’s my impression
Won’t be going back there shame as could be a really nice place

Disappointing
Pros:

Breakfast was good

Cons:

I came home covered in mosquito bites. Never been worse. The room was stifling so we opened a sky
Light. Big mistake.
Hotel will not keep custom until it resolves this issue . I will not return.

Nice pub with really good food. Rooms a bit tired and watch out for the mosquitos (be prepared)
Pros:

Food both at dinner and breakfast was excellent.

Cons:

Rooms are a little tired - lamps broken, roof lights not shutting
One one cup for tea/coffee provided - had to get another.
Simple things but they should be spotted and rectified.

Excellent
Pros:

The deputy landlady was brilliant nothing was too much trouble, she took time out too chat with us, tell us all the info about where the dog could go for walks, food was available to buy for him in a little doggie corner, blankets were available for outside which was where we spend a later evening to have a couple of night caps, food in restaurant had a wide choice & was very tasty finishing with a cheese board!!! Yummie , could not fault anything other than shame we couldn’t stay longer once again thanks to all the staff excellent

Cons:

Nothing to say here lovely evening Mr & Mrs Quinton
