The hotel was so super clean and the staff were very kind.
Staff was always very friendly, helpful, and accommodating! The room was very clean, spacious, and had good a/c during the heat wave.
We loved our hotel stay, and although it was not walkable to the city center the transportation was very accessible and easy to get to by sprinter, metro, or bus!

Ystävällinen henkilökunta, vastaanotto auki 24/7. Huoneet olivat siistit ja hiljaiset, käytävältä kuului päiväsaikaan hieman ääntä läpi mutta ei mitään häiritsevää. Sijainti on hieman kauempana keskustasta mutta erittäin hyvien kulkuyhteyksien varrella ja asuinalue vaikutti asiallisesta. Hotellin lähellä oli useampi ruokakauppa ja erinomainen brunssiravintola.
Wc-kopissa oli (himmennetty) lasiovi eli se ei ollut kovinkaan yksityinen.
I enjoy my stay at the Met, the staff was really helpful, friendly and welcoming. Easy connection to the city with the metro, tram and train a 10 minute walk away
At the moment, hotel is going through a renovation period so a few noisy mornings but other than that was very good hotel away from the city centre

Not about the property but the room windows faced a community block of flats.
The hotel is beautiful and the room was nice. The WiFi was good and the aircon was nice as well.
Unfortunately, we did not realize this hotel was located quite far from the city center and was not walkable to the main areas of Amsterdam. If you are someone who likes to explore by foot and be in the middle of everything, just note that this location is about 25 to 30 minutes outside the city by train.
We ended up leaving after the first night because the location did not work for our trip, but unfortunately the hotel would not offer any type of courtesy refund despite us not staying for the remaining nights. I understand we booked a non-refundable rate, but it was disappointing that there was no flexibility or effort to put the guest experience first. Just something to keep in mind when booking.
