Cold and dark room, misleading photos.
Pros:

Goo location in South of Fifth.

Cons:

The room was much darker than the one in the photos. First floor windows were impossible to use without blinds due to near by building windows and people walking around the building. During the freezing temperatures in the period Jan 30 - Feb 8 - the heating system didn’t work, room temperature was below 16 Celcius for 4-5 days until it was fixed. Staff uses ChatGPT for replies and didn’t read to validate the generated messages before sending them to me so this resulted in a lot of contradicting information given by the property team.

Pros:

Recently renovated. It's got all you need - good value for price.

Cons:

I don't think there's any space to leave your suitcases for the check out - it would be very helpful to have.

Had a great stay overall, if the prices come down a little bit I would book another stay here.

I liked the location of the property, it is the best thing about the property.

Superb location. Clean. Everything worked as expected.

Cons:

No elevator.
Walls too thin, could hear everything from adjacent room.
Checkout is at 11:00am and at the exact time, cleaning personnel knocked at the door informing of checkout. We were slightly delayed and were done by 11:10. But it is not nice and feels like you’re being rushed with zero tolerance.

Casa Sofi is in a good location, and is decent value for money for that location. My room was modern and spotlessly clean.

Cons:

Check-in is remote, and is very fiddly (Lots of messages, and the online check-in required lots of personal information which I thought was unnecessary and I didn't feel comfortable providing). You are provided entry codes for the main door and for your room, but I found the process cumbersome and annoying (lots of messages, when I was trying to work).
My room was on the ground floor, so you cannot open the window to get fresh air (or open the blinds to get natural light) as there's no security or privacy- it opens right onto the sidewalk.
In the shower it's not clear which is hot or cold, and the hot water takes a LONG time in coming - so you spend a long time trying to work where the hot water is.

Pros:

Great location close to the beach and main attractions. We really appreciated the contactless check-in — no need to communicate with anyone, everything was smooth and easy. The room itself was nice and clean, and it was a big plus that beach towels were provided.

Cons:

The water pressure in the shower was quite weak — not the pressure itself, but the shower head was very small, almost child-sized, and not very convenient. The bed/mattress was also not very comfortable. Additionally, while beach loungers were included in the price, the umbrella was not — using one on the beach required an extra $50, which felt overpriced.
