I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel met my expectations.
Pros:

I liked how clean it was and also that they had water available in the lobby.

Cons:

Maybe that you could hear the people next door from the bathroom.

The toilet needed a second flush every third use since the tank needed to refill, and the tank didn't refill every flush.

Great location but plan on eating elsewhere.

I do not typically complain. Breakfast was uneatable. No coffee, pancake machine did not work, watery eggs and microwaved sausage also pretty much no fruit. Bummer it did not have one thing that I could eat.

Hilton should revoke this property’s franchise
Pros:

This was my second stay at the Tru by Hilton Dallas Market Center, and unfortunately, it will be my last. While the Hilton app and reservation system worked as expected, the on-site execution fell far short of brand standards.
Key issues included:
• No hot water in the room—only room-temperature at best. Staff provided misleading explanations and failed to resolve it or offer any alternatives (e.g., room change or compensation). This is basic negligence for a hotel.
• Serious billing errors despite full prepayment through Dallas Market Center’s Connections Housing. My credit card was charged amounts significantly exceeding the confirmed total—twice.
As a frequent traveler and Hilton Honors member, I expect better from the brand. These problems reflect poorly on the franchise operators (Charter Holdings, led by Ray Washburne, and Liberty Hospitality Partners). Hilton should investigate and enforce higher standards at this property.
I recommend avoiding this hotel until improvements are made. Readers: Check recent reviews for patterns on maintenance and billing. It’s not just me.
