I would not recommend this particular location

In the past, we have had good experience with the Hotel chain not this time

Cons:

We were given a room on the fourth floor got off the elevator, and it did smell funny. Got to the room and multiple problems. These walls was cracked from the floor to the ceiling in two corners of the room. Someone had placed a plastic bag over the smoke detector. we returned to the front desk, showed them pictures and ask for a different room. The desk clerk said to wait five minutes and she would take care of it. We noticed her speaking with another staff member and then she disappeared. We waited 20 minutes, went back up to the desk, and the girl that had originally helped us was gone for the day. We told the new girl we wanted to cancel the stay that we were unhappy and wanted to leave. She said she didn’t have the authority to refund or cancel the reservation and had to call the manager. He was also not there. He just left. She did get a hold of him and said she would cancel the reservation and refund the money in a few days. The staff was actually nice just not able to help us in any way.
