We had a fabulous holiday at the 3HB Faro. The hotel was everything we had hoped for. The cleanliness was excellent, cannot thank housekeeping enough for the amazing service they provided. We booked a superior plus room and it was huge.
We had breakfast everyday and the choices were, again, excellent. We never ordered from the cooked menu as there was so much choice with the cereal bar, fruits, cheeses, meats, yoghurts, bread for toasting or rolls and a selection of sweet items, such as pastel de nata, to name but a few items! Our waiter Paulo was so lovely and kind and helpful it made breakfasting each day even better.
The view from the balcony was a little disappointing, however, it is a city hotel, only 3 stories high plus the roof terrace, so it was never going to have fabulous views. We had asked for a quiet room and that is exactly what we were given so were happy to compromise with the less than interesting view!
We had been led to believe that we would be dining in either of the two restaurants at the hotel but unfortunately one of them is only open as a snack bar in the daytime except for June-August. The other restaurant is an Italian restaurant. We found this a little surprising in Portugal but the staff were very helpful, allowing us to adapt the menu to suit our particular tastes and the fact that we do not eat meat.
All the staff were extremely helpful and in particular, Ricardo deserves a special mention, as does David on reception who was always happy to sort any (always minor!) issues we may have had.
We would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Any negative comments relating to the hotel access should be read and ignored! The walk from the taxi drop off point is literally a few metres and the benefit this gives being in a pedestrianised area is more than adequate compensation.

Excellent breakfast and the range & quality of food is very good. The location of the hotel is very good - it's close to the train station & the airport, and also, to lots of cafes and restaurants.

The outdoor rooftop pool is lovely and the gym is adequately equipped.

The staff throughout were very professional, helpful & friendly.

Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Tolle Dachterasse mit einem wunderschönen Blick über Faro. Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet und die Betten großartig. Das Frühstück ist mit frischen Früchten und Säften sowie einer großen Auswahl an anderen Speisen sehr gut.

Tout était parfait

Just back from a wonderful trip to Faro staying at the 3HB. This was our first visit and we were not disappointed. Can’t thank Ricardo enough for all his helpful advice and patience. All the staff are so lovely and so professional. The rooms are beautifully done spotlessly cleaned every day, we enjoyed the rooftop pool and some bathing area everything you need is attended to. We also enjoyed the very smart spa and mini gym. Food was excellent every day… it absolutely met all our expectations …. just one final question Ricardo! ☺️

I stayed for three nights and it felt too short! Everything was perfect: the location, the staff, the room, the facilities. I will come back for sure
