Pros:

Gorgeous hotel, everything I imagined, also received an upgrade on the room due to it being part of our honeymoon, very friendly and helpful staff!
The room was fantastic, the bed was so comfy, very modern features and appliances, great TV, and air conditioned rooms an absolute blessing away from the heat!
The decor is fantastic, lovely concept spaces and an ideal location

Cons:

Though grateful to receive free welcome drink vouchers we were told they covered cocktails/mocktails however later on when we came to order them, the drinks were made, went to hand the vouchers over to be told they don't cover the cocktails on the list just a complimentary punch style cocktail, if this had been explained prior or payment taken before the drinks were made it would have avoided a frustrating situation whereby the drinks needed paying for in full and the vouchers went unused.
Due to this unwanted expense (at the end of a week on holiday) I also opted out of spending on breakfast which I was looking forward to having.

Prior to the next point a big thank you to the gentleman that sorted this issue for us at the time.

The parking situation is a nightmare, a hotel with so many rooms should have a much bigger car park or (given location) no car park at all, roughly 25 spaces at £10 to park overnight, while Waitrose next door has a very large car park, perhaps something could be worked out there between the businesses that would be mutually beneficial. We had parked earlier in the day to check in, later on we went out for dinner and I opted to drive, as soon as my car left the space another car had been sat waiting for someone to move and swooped in to take the space. When I returned there were no spaces left and I had already paid the £10 via the online service to cover the parking. Again big thank you to the gentleman that then sorted this so that we could still park on site by moving some posts. However it seems like it must cause a daily headache between guests and staff.

Good choice for family
Pros:

Air cond is cold enough. Spacious

Cons:

Not enough car parks and carpark has to be charged. Rubbish bins in the toilet has not been cleared everyday

A friendly and welcoming hotel in an excellent location
Pros:

The staff were excellent, helpful, and very kind. The bed was super comfortable. I enjoyed the breakfast, which had great options.

Cons:

Limited parking, and that it isn't possible to reserve a space.

Really nice hotel, good value for money and lovely staff, would stay here again
Pros:

Well located, decent room for the price and very friendly and helpful staff members.

Cons:

The only gripe I had was about the tv, which we couldn’t for the life of us figure out. It seemed to have multiple different channel guides, loads of different options but we couldn’t figure any of it out, the remote buttons didn’t correspond to some of the functions either so that was like a puzzle

An amazing stay after a long drive would absolutely stay again

It was a wim that we stayed but WOW it’s was beautiful comfortable and friendly. Air conditioning and foot lights under the bed it was amazing

Lovely hotel
Pros:

Lovely property, good amenities, lovely beer garden to the rear. Staff were so helpful and lovely!

Cons:

I have also stayed in moxy York and I feel their bar and games are just a bit better, but this is just more personal preference!
