The Element Industrial Drive hotel in Orlando provides an exceptional lodging experience. The property is impeccably maintained, featuring modern décor, a high-quality breakfast offering, and a staff that is both professional and attentive.
My boyfriend and I recently stayed at the hotel for a long weekend and were highly satisfied with our experience. Our room was extremely clean, and the kitchenette was well equipped with all necessary amenities. The hotel’s location is also highly convenient, situated within walking distance of SeaWorld, Aquatica, and other nearby attractions.
Additionally, the availability of a trolley service enhances accessibility to the surrounding area. The cost is $5.00 per person for an all-day pass or $2.00 per ride. We utilized this service frequently and found it to be reliable and efficient.
Following our departure, I discovered that I had inadvertently left my cell phone at the hotel. The staff handled this matter with outstanding professionalism. They provided clear guidance on the necessary steps, ensured that my phone was securely stored, and arranged for its prompt return via UPS.
Overall, I highly recommend the Element Industrial Drive hotel. It is an excellent property that delivers both comfort and convenience, and I would gladly return for future stays.
Our Room had Ants! Do not stay in room 201, it's loud due to it's proximity to the Aloft Lobby where the DJ plays loud music (Friday and Saturday) and it has ants. When we checked in our room it was missing the Iron, Coffee maker and had ants in the kitchen area and bathroom. When we asked to speak to the Manager, we were told there was no manager on duty and was given a business card. We have stayed at this property before and it's usually clean and offers good service, but this time was an exception. Not a good experience at all.
During a recent work trip, I stayed at the Element Hotel and encountered several issues that made the stay disappointing. Upon arrival, the hotel did not have the credit card authorization that had been sent and confirmed in advance by my employer. As a result, the front desk staff had to make multiple phone calls, and the check-in process took approximately 30 minutes. We were ultimately required to place a personal credit card on the room despite this being a business stay.
My room was also not properly cleaned. I notified the front desk, specifically regarding the condition of the shower, and was told it would be addressed. When I returned, there were still visible hairs in the shower. Upon reporting this again, the staff member on duty was dismissive and stated that I was being unreasonable over “one hair,” insisting there was no issue. Due to the lack of professionalism and concern, I requested to switch rooms, as I no longer had confidence that housekeeping would resolve the problem adequately.
Cleanliness issues extended beyond the room itself. The carpets and hallways on the 2nd floor were noticeably dirty throughout our stay, while the 5th-floor hallways and carpets were consistently spotless, highlighting inconsistent maintenance within the property.
Additionally, my coworker did not have hot water in her room for two days, while the rest of our group did. We reported the issue to the front desk, and a technician visited while we were out. Upon returning, the issue had not been resolved. The technician later advised her to run the water for 15–20 minutes, which still did not result in hot water. The front desk again minimized the concern. After multiple attempts to resolve the issue, my coworker was ultimately moved to the nearby Aloft, which was significantly cleaner and had properly functioning hot water.
There were some positives during our stay. The freshly cooked eggs at breakfast were a nice touch, and the breakfast area was consistently kept very clean by staff. However, the waffle makers were only available on weekends, and the breakfast offerings were largely the same each day. The fitness center was also clean and adequately equipped for a workout.
As a Marriott Gold member who stays frequently at Marriott properties, this experience did not align with the level of quality and service I have come to expect. Unfortunately, this stay did not reflect the standards typically associated with the Marriott brand.
The bed was nice and comfortable
Breakfast was better than most
No pressure from shower
Having to ask for towels. We were there 4 nights and they gave us 2 towels and the body wash was empty.
The ice machine is broke on 2nd floor where we were. We reported it. Never fixed.
I like the room that has king bed, stove, microwave, refrigerator and two TVs'; one the the living room and the other on the bedroom. The bathroom and shower was also pleasant.
I thought it was going to be an exceptional hotel experience. Breakfast can be better, is not a buffet like other hotels. The internal air condition does not stay constant; it turnes off in order stay environmentally.
We loved the studio space we had. It worked great for our family of 6. Also being 4 min away from Sea World was wonderful
The breakfast was really good . The location was good as well .
The cost of the parking . Take me by surprised that I had to pay for stay at the hotel .
If I could give zero stars, I would. Lets start with the fact that I am a marriott bonvoy elite gold status member. I always stay at marriott because I love them and am comfortable with them. I booked one night at the element with my boyfriend for a total of $186 and some change. We had the entire day in the parks and came to check in around 11pm. Once we arrived at the front desk, the man asked for my ID. I handed it to him, he looked at it, typed a couple things on his computer and made a phone call. No explanation was given, but we were told we were going to get an upgrade and would be moved to the neighboring hotel, the aloft. We were escorted through the gym to the front desk of the aloft. I spoke with the front desk and the lady explained we were upgraded (I know now that they just overbooked). She asked me to insert my card, for incidentals, and we were given a room and room keys. Once up in the room, we were getting situated, and within all of five minutes I get a charge on my debit card for $224 and some change. I sent my boyfriend downstairs with my card and information and told him to explain that there was a mistake. He came back up almost immediately and said the lady at the front desk said that the original charge (of 186 and change) never went through, was incredibly rude to him, and they needed to charge my card for the stay. I went down stairs, with proof of my bank charge. Sabrina, the front desk supervisor, gave me incredible attitude, so I told her she will be refunding me for the $224 AND for the $186 because we would be leaving. I was met with more attitude, so we packed our stuff and went back down stairs to get a finalized receipt. I ensured I would be refunded for both transactions and Sabrina said yes. She gave me her name and title on a receipt and we left.
This all happened on November 8. I got the refund for $224 from the aloft, however, I had to call 4 separate times to marriott/element to try to get my refund for the original stay of $186. Even the supervisors supervisor could not help. It is now December 9, and I have YET to get that refunded to me. I opened a dispute with my bank, and even my bank is having issues getting a hold of the element hotel.
I will NEVER stay at this place again, not after the hassle that I have gone through and am still going through. Don't bother giving them your money, it's not worth it!!!
