Mint House Miami - Downtown

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at Mint House. We had a conference at the J.W. Marriott Miami. Our walk was five minutes away from the conference. I felt really safe in the building. The location was great. Close to the conference, Whole Foods, and 15-minute walk from the pier. It was so nice to have an apartment style hotel. If one of us was ready for bed/tired, and the other wasn't, you had the space for privacy to sleep in the room and the other to be in the living room. The black out curtains were amazing for deep sleep. I'm very sensitive to noise and I did not hear any of the outside/car noise when I was sleeping. The pillows are amazing.

Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

The apartment and amenities were extremely luxurious. The space was great and the communication from the Mint House was great. Location was awesome! We could walk to multiple bars and restaurants and dancing. We could take an inexpensive uber to the cruise port as well!

The location and the unit was amazing

Beautiful Condo within walking distance to the water and shopping.

Surprised to learn day before arrival that the pool was under maintenance and not available. This should have been made clear by both Hotels.com and Mint House well in advance. Otherwise, excellent stay.

The whole apartment was great, there wasn’t anything wrong, clean well equipped kitchen, clean bedding, books to read, comfortable seating, plenty to watch on the television, everything working. great location. I would recommend and stay again.

This is our go-to place in Miami and we will be back. It was very surprising this year to find the pool out of commission with no advance notice. Not your usual - and our expected - standard of guest communication. Otherwise, all was as expected - a very good place to stay.

This is not an Hotel, this is an apartment in a building!

The bad:
This is not an hotel, this is an apartment run in remote. The check in process is time consuming and complicated. And the really worts of all is they want to run a police records check and social medias check!!!!
A very privacy invasive policy, never seen anywhere in the world in all my life.
The phone assistance is very slow and all this process it took me more than a frustrating hour, seated in the building lobby dealing with them. Luckily the apartments manager was there comprehensive, willing to help and very kind.
Keep all this in mind when you book with them, probably al this is comprehensible part of the game when you book this a apartment for a long period but as night usage as a simple hotel, is complicated and time consuming.

The good:
The location is fantastic, right in the center of downtown, in a very nice building.
The apartment is very very nice, perfectly cleaned and perfect in every smallest detail: complimentary coffee, water, Snack, small towels for makeup cleaning with clranser, pad for women. Everything you would need, perfectly clean, well thought and ready there for you.
Bed is very comfortable, very good quality of sheets, pillow and blankets.
Super fast internet connection.
Perfect temperature control.
The area is a bit noisy (it is obviously city center) but window are very sound proof, so no problem at all (and on top of that they give you as courtesy ear plugs and eyes mask)
Decoration is very pleasant.
QUALITY PRICE IS REALLY REALLY GOOD.

To summarize, if you plan a long stay is a perfect establishment in Miami Downtown and to deal with their check in and assistance will be part of the game. Probably if you’ll do all this in advance it will be less frustrating for you.

If this is a last minute booking and/or for just one night bear in mind my experience and maybe pick another solution.

I would give a 9 to this place but for the bad experience in the check in and for their intrusive privacy policies I will give a 7

This place was excellent. Super safe, nice and convenient. Lots of security and space as well.

Had some difficulty checking in at the beginning as our room was switched and we weren’t notified before our arrival so we were attempting to gain access to a room which wasn’t ours. That said, we were upgraded to a larger room which was the reason for the change.

Besides that, everything was good. We will certainly be back.

Great property. Very good communication. Easy to check in. Front desk building staff were wonderful. Couch and chair in living room uncomfortable. Great deck

It was our second stay at Mint House Miami - Downtown and it was exceptionnal, just like the first trip. We were there with our kid, and the 1BR appartment was perfect for us.
The appartment is well designed, decorated and equiped. Everything is like new and comfortable.
I will for sure come here next time !

Mint House stays are always pretty amazing. However, there could be better/clearer instructions about the utilization of the Keyton’s for the rooms and entrance/exit to the building and for use of the elevators. If you do not know to bring it with, you won’t be able to get in and out or use the elevators. Also, this was the first time there was a warning about the thermostat. I was notified later that the thermostat is set to a certain temperature and if you change it, you’re responsible for setting it back to where you found it upon entering. It would’ve been great to know that before checking in. Communication is something that needs to be improved so there are clear expectations at the property prior to checking in.

Amazing. Location. Apartment, attention everything was perfect. I'll be back soon. And I'll recommend this place to my friends. Thanks a lot. The valet parking service was amazing too. The view was wonderful 😍 everything was also clean and tidy

Great location, easy to find, apt was clean. More flexibility for check in and check outs times would be appreciated.

Comfortable apartment with very good Equipment. Location is central downtown next to bayside park. Brickell is also quite near (10 Minute walk or use the metromower system). Beds are comfortable. The pool area is also nice (salt water pool). Only parking is a litttle challenge .

The property was very nice, modern and clean.
It is in a building with security and someone to assist with needs. Good location. Street Parking was not very easy, however there is a valet service out front.

I had to wait almost 2 hrs before I got access .

Check in was very very hard.
House was clean.
Location is good.
No informarion about house. We couldnt know the key for elevator.
Price was okey. Balkony is good .kitchen was useable,all equipment have.
Pilow and bed good qualty.
Shower was clean
