Such a stunning place, staff are so welcoming & chatty even being right next to a restaurant didn’t smell and car park didn’t hear anything

The staff were very welcoming, particularly George who was incredibly friendly. The room was very clean, and spacious. The location is wonderful as it is in the centre. Mini fridge in room, plenty of extras like sweets (free), coffee and tea.
The room was VERY hot, it was 19 degrees outside but there was no window in the main living area. I was in the elegance room, and the bedroom and bathroom window overlooked the beer garden to the pub next door. I couldn't leave those windows open due to noise. The air con unit, which is plugged into an outlet, did nothing to budge the hot air. The mattress in the room was also incredibly soft, to the point of no structure at all. I had already unpacked and settled, otherwise I would have requested a different room, ideally which would be cooler, and a firmer bed.
Loud music till 1 o'clock at night ! I couldn't sleep at all.
If the hotel only provides ear plugs that would probably change my experience coz i would be able to go sleep at 10 without hearing banging music from the club on the other side. Little thinks but no one thought about this
The room itself was lovely. Loved the quirkiness of the showers behind the bed. The room itself was very clean. Appreciated the toiletries and sweets.
Not the hotels fault but the nightclub across the road plays very loud music until gone 1am, luckily I had earplugs with me but my husband didnt, so couldn't get to sleep.
Not really a complaint, but more of a suggestion...For a five star place, I would have loved a couple more options of tea instead of the usual tea and coffee.... perhaps Peppermint or Camomile etc!

The size of the treehouse suite was impressive. It had everything we could need. The quality of the furnishings were also great.
The only window is a skylight, could have done with more natural light but that can’t be helped I guess due to the nature of the room.
Location was good for river and city centre.
Noisy area.
