Very underwhelming
Cons:

Hotel is extremely short staffed - on arrival at reception nobody on desk. Had to ring a phone to get somebody who eventually arrived who was also cleaning and other jobs
Hotel is poorly signed, not obvious from outside and not clear were to enter for reception
Room was average at best )(Bouquet) but bathroom was a match box and just miles to small
Sold as a luxury hotel but it’s just miles off in today’s standards

Great location
Pros:

Hotel in a very good location near the shopping centre, and lots of restaurants and bars in the centre of Chester. The staff were really helpful upon checking in and made us feel extremely welcome.The room was lovely with nice kitchen area within the room.

Cons:

Some issues around noise from workers on Sunday morning which is out of control of the hotel, but it was a little annoying.

The most peaceful night.
Pros:

This hotel is absolutely stunning. I’d been eying it up for months, and it exceeded my expectations entirely. The decor in the Flamingo suite is beautiful, and it was peaceful. Staff were incredible - Huge shout out to Gweneth who is so lovely and chatty.

What a gem of a place. Fabulous, spacious, apartment style, themed rooms. Super comfortable beds!

disappointing overall, would not return.
Pros:

Nice staff. Central location.

Cons:

on the hottest day of the year the room was like a furnace. The glass fronted fridge was hot like a radiator and the fans in the room just pushed hot air around. in normal weather this would have been an ok room and we might have slept properly.
