Wo fange ich an… vom ersten Betreten des Hotels, bis zum Zeitpunkt des Abschieds, war alles einfach nur großartig. Die Lage ist sensationell. Das Hotel ist wunderschön. Das Abendessen war köstlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen. Aber das absolute Highlight ist das Personal. Unglaublich nett und zuvorkommend. Wer nach Mostar kommt MUSS hier übernachten und auch das tolle Essen genießen! Danke, für die schöne Zeit bei euch!

Het was fantastisch, het personeel doet alles om het naar je zin te maken. Het ontbijt was fantastisch en het avondeten ook. Mostar zelf is prachtig. Alles lijkt op een sprookje.
De jonge ober deed heel erg zijn best en wist veel over de lokale wijn te vertellen. Op zijn aanraden zijn we naar wijnhuis gereden en naar plaats in de buurt. Blagnaj.

Most friendly and helpful staff in Bosnia. Dinner was amazing. They were very helpful with everything, including moving our luggage up and down the stairs for us. I would come again.

Staying here was like being in the middle of a fairytale; magical. Booking.com says check in ends at 7PM, but it is 24/7. You go to the reception desk next to the restaurant. They send a bellman to help you park in their secure Parking. He brings your luggage to your room. They greet you with juice and yogurt and sit to chat and answer any questions. The service here is superb. The breakfast was a beautiful buffet! Stay here!!! It is tucked between the two bridges and steps from restaurants and bazaar in old town. Couldn't be better! This hotel is delightful! You have to stay here! In the perfect location in the old town with everything within walking distance. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice.

But what makes this hotel stand out is the staff. They are all so cheerful and friendly and go out of their way to ensure you are happy and have everything you need.

You must stay here when visiting Mostar!

Das war das bisher freundlichste Hotelpersonal was ich je erlebt habe. Ich fühlte mich von vorne bis hinten super wohl. Von dem Frühstücksbuffet können sich viele Hotels eine Scheibe abschneiden. Und auch das Restaurant ist wirklich zu empfehlen. Ein besonderer Dank an Damian, der sich rührend um uns und unser Gepäck gekümmert hat. Und dank des tollen Tipps von Anel waren wir heute noch an den Kravice Wasserfällen zum Baden. Dem ganzen Team ein ganz herzliches Dankeschön für den tollen Aufenthalt.

We had the most perfect stay at the Hotel-Restaurant Kriva Ćuprija. It is a beautiful hotel near the Old Bridge in the incredible city of Mostar. All the staff were very friendly (including one staff member who greeted us in the street later and who, at the time, we didn’t recognise) and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home. Our waiter recommended the Old Bridge Museum which we visited and very much enjoyed. The room was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. We would highly recommend both the hotel and the restaurant.

It is the crooked bridge hotel-adjacent to the Crooked Bridge. The location is superb. The hotel oozes charm and the rooms are well appointed and very comfortable but it is the staff that makes this hotel so special. So cheerful and friendly, and helpful with recommendations and a special request that we made. We were sad to leave.

El personal

This was our first stay in Bosnia and it truly made such a nice start to our trip. The staff were so friendly, always up for a conversation and were so helpful. We had a slight issue with our air conditioning and thought we had an issue with the lights (that was our mistake!) but the staff were quick to help us and we didn’t have any issues after speaking with them. We had breakfast included with our stay and the selection was really nice, lots of good options (both sweet and savoury), and we had such a lovely experience. The staff were so so lovely, especially Jannat - she saw that we didn’t have breakfast the first couple nights (we had other plans) and wanted us to still experience a traditional breakfast/meal and had asked the chef to make us burek for our last day. It was such a sweet gesture which we really appreciated.

Breakfast: Amazing selection of breakfast items, I especially loved the yogurt and chia seeds. Lots of variety, whether you prefer something sweet or savoury, and lots of healthy options too.

Location: Perfect location! We were right in the middle of the city which was so convenient. The views from the hotel were good, with the crooked bridge being right by the hotel. Everything was about a 10-15 minute walk around, the river, the old bridge, all the food spots. Would really recommend!

The location is simply amazing - as close to a fairy tale as it gets. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, while the little stone corridors and staircases add to the overall charm. The staff are exceptionally polite, helpful and professional. And I mean every single member of staff: it is not just one or two people; they are all wonderful.

The location was amazing, central and close to the crooked bridge and the old Mostar bridge. The views were incredible. The staff were super friendly and were always so helpful and they all were fluent in English. Breakfast was tasty with a wide spread of food.
Our room was well appointed and spacious and our bed was comfortable.

Location wise, it’s absolutely perfect for exploring the old town

Nice hotel overall in a charming setting if you plan to visit Mostar’s old city centre. It’s very picturesque (but the violet flowers on the corridor are unfortunately fake).
My room (101) was spacious enough, even though the bathroom was a bit tight (and the hot water finished rather quickly). The bed was comfortable and the AC unit and the mini fridge worked nicely.
However, the room was really noisy. It’s right behind the kitchen/restaurant and badly insulated, so you can hear all the staff talking and the noises they have to make whilst working. I always wear earplugs and that helped, but without those, it would be unbearable.
Breakfast buffet was complete and they had fresh fruit, eggs, cereals and many cheese and cold cuts choices. No fresh fruit juices though and no coffee machine, but you can order an espresso or something else if you want at no extra charge.
Regarding dinner, the menu is not very extensive and many things were unavailable. They also said that half the menu (the cheapest half…) wasn’t available after 18:00 (?), like the pizzas, salads or the vegetarian options. Not written anywhere, mind you…

Also, when booking through Booking.com, the option to cancel without any fees ends rather soon, weeks before the check in date, which I can understand. However, just a few days before, they send you a message saying they only accept cash (not what’s written on Booking). And they’ve been doing this for years if you read older bad reviews. I also understand why they do this (to avoid taxes I presume…), but it’s not safe to carry around hundreds of euros or Bosnian marks, as you can imagine. Also, when you pay, request a receipt saying “paid in cash”, so that you can prove you actually paid your stay and avoid being double charged later on as a “no show” since there’s no credit card transaction registered, as it has happened before according to some reviews.

This was my main issue and you feel like you’re being or going to be scammed.
