Would recommend if you're luckier with rooms than we were.
Pros:

The location is a short walk from the train station and the Nagasaki peace park. The room is spacious and well equipped.

Cons:

The hotel is fully automated without a front desk, and the room is connected via a phone and chat application (built in tablet) to a support channel.

Our room's AC started leaking water and soaked the whole carpet. After trying to call the helpline, we got no answer, so we used the chat. After 40m we got a response saying that low temperature (in our case a nice 23C) causes water leakage, so we should try 27C, which was absurd as it was 26C in Nagasaki.

We tried anyway, but the AC still leaked. The back and forth continued and after we have given up, turned the AC off and went to sleep, we "received" a new room at 00:30 in the morning, about 4h after the first message. We were staying only one night, so the hotel was factually without an AC for us.

Pros:

good value, good location near the peace park, 4 double beds are awesome

Cons:

no free parking (even the 4-5 lots right in front of their lobby is paid).

i receive many phishing attempts on whatsapp containing my name, personal info, and the details of my booking with grand base urakami. out of my many bookings, this was the only one that had this happen. i believe grand base was compromised by hackers and leaked the info, so they need to improve their security.
