Clean, comfortable, quiet and convenient apartment. Overall good value.

Clean & comfortable apartment in quiet & convenient neighbourhood. Good value with responsive hosts and some housekeeping services. Communal rooftop terrace.

Goede uitvalsbasis voor een bezoek aan Athene
Pros:

Ruim en proper appartement, vanop de rooftop heb je zicht over de hele stad, inclusief Akropolis. Elke dag werden nieuwe handdoeken gebracht en werden de vuilnisbakken geleegd. Op Pasen kregen we een geschenkje om te vieren.
Deuren zijn keyless, zo kan je de sleutel ook niet verliezen. Afstand tot het centrum op 20 minuten wandelafstand.

Cons:

Service-medewerkers: bij het boeken hadden we al gevraagd naar mogelijke parkings, maar hier werden we niet echt in geholpen. Het had ook handig geweest als we toen hadden geweten dat het orthodoxe Pasen was en de parkeergarages eigenlijk sloten tot en met maandag. Nubwas het moeilijk om onze wagen kwijt te raken én op te halen. Deze informatie misten we dus. Nadeel van online boeken zonder direct contact is dat we ook onze ID moeten doorgeven via mail, wat overal afgeraden wordt, maar anders kregen we onze incheckgegevens niet.

Great place for a small family vacation.
Pros:

Good location. Walking-distance from Panepistimio metro station and all the main squares (Syntagma, Plaka, Omonia, and Monastiraki).
Well-maintained apartments, equipped with decent kitchenette and utensils. Some water, snacks, and coffee are provided on arrival. Water-kettle and coffee machine available.
Bathroom is clean.
Cleaning staff are friendly.
Small supermarket, 2 restaurants, and several coffee-shops are very close to the apartments.

Cons:

Towel-changing every 2 days and sheets-changing and apartment-cleaning every 4 days (but it is not a big problem).
The living-room is slightly small.

No air conditioning in bedrooms, completely unacceptable
Pros:

Location was decent, but unfortunately that was the only positive aspect of the stay.

Cons:

Very disappointing stay.

The apartment is advertised with air conditioning, but in reality, there is no cooling available in the bedrooms at all. The system is centrally controlled and was locked on heating mode, meaning it could not be switched to cooling under any circumstances.

As a result, the bedrooms were extremely uncomfortable and not properly usable, especially at night.

When we contacted the property, they confirmed the issue and said it cannot be changed. The only “solution” offered was to open windows or balcony doors, which is not acceptable due to safety concerns and mosquitoes. Offering extra cleaning instead of fixing the issue does not address the problem.

This is a clear mismatch between what is advertised and what is actually provided.

I would not recommend this property.

Δεν είχε κουρτίνες συσκότισης. Ήταν μισή η κουρτίνα και δεν κάλυπτε όλο το παράθυρο με αποτέλεσμα να ξυπνάμε πολύ νωρίς
