Military is treated so well here

I am here celebrating my retirement from the air force and after a grueling yet rewarding career as an explosive ordinance disposal technician wanted to just get back and relax with my friends.We had talk with the group about different places to come celebrate, we could not be happier.We chose the sharing moon pool at the good time.Hotel, the service absolutely has been phenomenal.We would like to specifically give our gratitude towards alika, aileen, rich, Julian we are definitely gonna have another celebration here

What truly elevated everything was our VIP server, Alika. She was absolutely phenomenal, attentive, warm, professional, and always one step ahead of what we needed. Exceptional Staff
Pros:

The staff here at The Goodtime Hotel has been extremely helpful and accommodating. Alejandra in the coffee shop is especially friendly and always so nice to see in the morning when we stop by for our drinks and breakfast pastries.

alika absolute phenomenal I have owned restaurants for possibly 20 years if not longer and to watch her take the time today to save the life ofan innocent insect before she threw the actual food in The Garbage was absolutely phenomenal her attention to the details around the place was absolutely impeccable I her a couple of times and I had to come by before I left to let her know that I saw the things that she was doing unconsciously and she gave me her name and I felt obligated to write this review absolutely amazing if I wish I had one employee with this much leadership and dignity for life my business businesses would be absolutely phenomenal thank you

We were charged a £500 smoking fee despite neither of us smoking, and no one informed us about this during our stay or at checkout. The money was simply taken afterwards with no proper explanation or evidence provided.

I have been ringing, emailing, and explaining the situation for the last two weeks and still have not received any proper resolution. Instead, I keep getting passed from one person to another with no one taking responsibility for the issue.

They are now claiming this is handled by a “third party” company that monitors these charges, yet they refuse to put me in direct contact with this third party. I was even told that if I want my money back, I should try getting it back through my bank. That honestly does not sound right at all and has only made the situation feel even more suspicious.

After reading other reviews, I can see this has apparently happened to other guests as well, which honestly makes the whole situation feel like a scam. Charging guests £500 without clear evidence or communication is completely unacceptable.

The lack of communication, accountability, and customer service has been extremely disappointing throughout. If a hotel is going to apply charges of this size, they should at the very least provide proof and deal with complaints professionally.

Be very careful when staying here.

The only positive is the location — you can’t really go wrong with that. It’s literally a 2-minute walk from the beach and nearby restaurants. However, the rooms are very, very small, and the hotel itself is also quite small and boutique-style.

We are having the absolute best time. We’re so excited. Our girl is getting married such a vibe. We were having a really rough week butALIKA our server really picked up our mood and made it such a fun experience turning our entire week around Julian is absolutely incredible. He is helping do everything for our girlie who is pregnant making her feel included we are still happy. We came here.
