I would not recommend staying at Secret Garden Miami Beach. My sister and I stayed in Rooms 201 and 202, and both rooms had serious cleanliness and maintenance issues.
The beds and towels had hair on them, the towels also had holes, and the carpets appeared dirty and not properly cleaned. In Room 202, the sink and bathtub would not drain properly, and there was visible black mold in the bathroom, including on the shower curtain. In Room 201, the shower malfunctioned and caused water to pour onto the bathroom floor, creating a mess and safety hazard.
To make matters worse, housekeeping left our room door unlocked after servicing the room. When we brought these concerns to staff, no effort was made to move us to another room or properly resolve the situation. We were even told to leave water on the floor and housekeeping would clean it later.
The most disappointing part was management’s response afterward. Instead of taking accountability, they minimized the issues and were dismissive and unprofessional in their communication.
Overall, this was a very stressful and unpleasant experience, especially for the amount paid. I hope the hotel improves its cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service for future guests.

The property was really okay. We’ve heard somebody else complaining about their room, but from our personal experience I’d rate the property very well. The receptionist was very kind and welcoming, explained us everything on our arrival. The room was pretty clean and tidy, nothing exceptional, but I wouldn’t complain about it either. Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend this place for its location, very good WiFi signal and comfortable room.

My room was not serviced my whole stay. I have to ask for towels and wash cloth. Outside of the toilet bowl was not cleaned.

The property is mind blowing, feels cozy and luxurious at the same time, it's different to everything around in miami beach, and its a block away from the beach, with a great location to go to south beach, it's amazing, Im coming back
The bathroom didn't have a hairdryer, I can't think about anything else.
Me and my partner have just come back from a beautiful holiday to Miami and we stayed here at the Secret Garden Miami Hotel.
I was a little concerned seeing what people had wrote about this hotel on reviews but our experience was completely different. The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming to us, greeting us each morning when we left reception to go out and explore with a smile. A lady working in housekeeping was also lovely to us, especially on our check out day and helping us with our bags and keeping them safe so we could enjoy more of Miami before we went home.
The room was clean and I would like to highlight SPACIOUS! The location is brilliant as it’s right next to the beach. The room has air conditioning and the hotel is also accessible for guests who may require additional assistance with a lift in the hotel.
The bed was huge and comfortable, there WERE soaps, towels, flannels, shampoo and conditioner in the room with a shower over a jacuzzi bath. Cleaners came round every day to tidy the rooms.
Only thing I may just highlight is the noise in the corridors and other rooms, the walls weren’t particularly that soundproof so we could hear doors shutting, people chatting when we were in our room.
We didn’t come to the hotel for the breakfast. On a welcome sheet the hotel gave to us on check in they recommended some locations to go out and eat breakfast and also lunch and dinner.The hotel offers essentials like toasts, eggs etc for their own breakfast but the hotel doesn’t state they do waffles, pancakes.
The hotel I would describe as boutique with a charm and a lot of character and attention to details. The value was incredible also!
