Theyvasked if they could change our two singles for a 2 bedroon and upgraded us to all inclusive was well worth it great food and dining options

Nice stay. I've been in many all inclusive hotels ad I reckon that there is room for improvement on the food. The food wasn't bad at all, but in other all inclusive hotels I have found it much better, even in the area of Crete.

Abbiamo prenotato uno studio con cucina a Caldera Beach, ma al check-in ci hanno assegnato una camera economy nell'albergo adiacente, a Caldera Creta Paradise.
Il giorno dopo abbiamo fatto presente alla reception che quella non era la camera che avevamo prenotato e pagato. La reception ci ha risposto che gli hotel fanno parte dello stesso gruppo e che avendo preso l'all-inclusive hanno ritenuto in autonomia di non riservarci lo studio perché dotato di cucina e quindi non necessaria con l'all-inclusive.
Abbiamo quindi iniziato ogni giorno a chiedere che ci venisse assegnata la camera prenotata a Caldera Beach, ma non abbiamo mai avuto alcuna risposta e non abbiamo mai cambiato stanza.
La camera assegnata, oltre ad avere un arredo datato, era in disuso da diverso tempo. Oltre a formiche e capelli presenti nel letto e in doccia, la pulizia in generale non era sufficiente. I vetri del balcone erano totalmente sporchi, gli asciugamani non sempre puliti e il materasso poco confortevole.

Camera a parte, l'hotel era comunque un buon hotel a 4 stelle. Abbiamo apprezzato la vicinanza al mare, dal quale si accedeva direttamente dalla piscina dell'hotel.
La qualità e il servizio di ristorazione erano più che buoni. Vengono forniti asciugamani per la piscina, che però possono essere cambiati ogni 3 giorni.
Struttura molto vicina a Platanias, ben collegata con mezzi pubblici. Parcheggi intorno all'hotel sempre disponibili e gratuiti.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im Caldera Beach. Der Strand direkt vor dem Hotel war einfach super – nur wenige Schritte entfernt. Wir haben es sehr genossen, morgens und abends dort spazieren zu gehen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und empfehlen das Hotel wärmstens weiter.

Bel hôtel proche de Chania (environ 20 min) avec beaucoup d’équipements pour les enfants. Bon petit déjeuner varié. le water Park est neuf mais petit on a vite fait le tour donc le tarif est un peu excessif.
La plage n’est pas top je vous recommande visiter les plages de Balos Beach, Elafonissi, seitan…

Le complexe est agréable, avec une belle offre de restauration, une grande piscine bien entretenue, et une animation du soir pour les enfants (mini disco dans l’autre hôtel du groupe) qui a été très appréciée.

Il est toutefois important de noter que certaines chambres sont situées à l’écart, de l’autre côté d’une route, à environ 500 mètres des installations principales (restaurants, piscines, plage). Cette information n’apparaît pas clairement lors de la réservation, ce qui peut surprendre, en particulier pour les familles avec enfants.

Dès notre arrivée, nous avons souhaité changer de chambre en raison de cette distance, mais notre demande est restée sans réponse malgré plusieurs relances. La réception sur place ne gère pas directement ce type de demande, qui est transmise à un service central difficile à joindre.

Le Wi-Fi est également très limité dans cette zone du club : la connexion est instable et ne permet pas un véritable accès à Internet. Par ailleurs, en période de forte affluence, il est difficile de trouver un transat disponible après 8h du matin.

En résumé, il s’agit d’un bel établissement, offrant de bonnes prestations, mais il est recommandé de bien se renseigner à l’avance sur l’emplacement des chambres, surtout si la proximité avec les installations principales est un critère important pour vous.

The hotel is really nice. The food and drinks were good. Beach is right there and there are lits of pools to choose from. We have loved our holiday

Veldig bra opphold. Et paradis for barn og barnefamilier. De har absolutt alt du trenger for å trives. Padel bane, basketbane, bordtennisbord, volleyballbane osv.
for barn har de nettopp åpnet en vannpark med mange ulike vannsklier tilpasset både små og store barn. I tillegg har de arkade(spillerom), kids club osv. hoteller var utrolig vakkert og veldig rent. Du kan selvfølgelig finne noen små maur på gulvet på badet osv, men hva kan man forvente på et så varmt sted, når man ligger og bader over alt. All inclusive var gull med mat tilgjengelig døgnet rundt, samt ubegrenset drikke (øl,vin, brus og til og med cocktail). Maten på all inclusive var greit, kanskje ikke det aller beste kjøttet, litt tørt noen ganger, men man kan kanskje ikke forvente noe annet. Utvalget av mat og tilbehør var derimot utmerket.

Plussaa:Kattava all inclusive, erinomainen palvelu, moderni ja tilava huoneisto, meri vieressä, uusi vesipuisto, iso pääallas, ohjattuja jumppia, viereisen sisarhotellin palvelut käytettävissä.

Miinusta: kuntosali oli vähän siivoton, laitteita ei ollut huollettu. Viereisen sisarhotellin kuntosali oli pienempi, mutta siistimpi. Yleiset suihkutilat myöhäiselle paluulennolle lähtijöille olivat myös vähän siivottomat, vesi lillui jne. Eivät vastanneet hotellin muutoin hyvää tasoa.

Generaly, it is a good place to stay. The only problem we found some ants inside the room and we saw one ant in the bed.
We reported it to the management, they just sent someone to do further cleaning.
I know the hot weather is a good environment for ants but it should not be inside the rooms.
They need to treat ants properly to keep them outside the rooms.

Tutto stupendo ! Posizione ideale , a due passi dal centro di agia Marina allo stesso tempo lontano dal caos , puliti e colazione ottima ! Ringrazio tutto lo staff per l’accoglienza e la disponibilità, all’arrivo abbiamo avuto un imprevisto e ci hanno supportato senza nessuno stress . Grazie rimarrà un ricordo stupendo aver passato una settimana da voi !

Whenever you needed help from receptionist the English was suddenly not very good. Once they needed payment or anything in their favor English was perfect.

ottima e ben curata struttura. Ideale per famiglie. Tutto rilassante. Ottimo buffet.

Flott hotell, supert når man reiser med barn, vi hadde bare frokost inkludert, litt lite spisesteder i nærheten. Men lett å ta buss eller gå inn til Platanias.

Es war alles in Ordnung. Uns hat es gefallen. Die Einrichtung war allerdings schon etwas älter. Ein wenig unglücklich war nur der Zugang zu unserem Apartment, das zwar im Erdgeschoss lag, aber durch den Architekten so gebaut war, dass man trotzdem noch ein paar Stufen hoch und runtersteigen musste um ins Zimmer zu gelangen. Mit Kinderwagen war das leider nervig. Preis-Leistung war ok für “nur Frühstück”.

I had torn my achilles tendon just before my stay here so accessibility was an issue to some degree. No rooms had ramps or had ground floor accessibility. Other than that, the staff were great, breakfast was fantastic. Lunch was meh, dinner was really nice at the stone restaurant. My family had rented a car so we were a short 20 min drive into old town Chania which was gorgeous.

Hyvä perhehotelli lähellä rantaa. Laaja uima-allas alue ja ranta ihan vieressä. Lähellä muutamia ravintoloita ja kauppoja. Aamiainen hyvä ja monipuolinen. Platanias pienen kävelymatkan päässä. Tosi hyvä kokonaisuus.
