MainStay Suites Columbus near Fort Benning

Went to first room, looked like someone had slept in the bed... requested second room, bedding looked the same... then noticed hair in the shower, on the floor in the riom,and hand prints o the dirty headboard...shower tub was dirty and bathroom was not very clean...

Hot water was little to non existent.

No coffee in the main lobby equipment broken.
Coffee machine in room broken could not be fixed.
Swimming pool not available broken equipment.
Morning breakfast was minimal at bat.
Soda and snack area including canned soup barely stocked. Out of 20 selections of canned goods to were available. Only two selections of soda pop the rest of the fridge was empty.

The room was dirty, pillow cases had stains, floors were not swept, shower curtain was dirty and moldy, there was no hand soap in the bathroom, pool was closed, breakfast was not available, and ice machine was broken.

This hotel needs a major update. I would not recommend to anyone or stay again. The pool was closed, there was no complimentary breakfast, the ice machine had no ice, the room is in desperate need of a re-face, the fridge was leaking, the toliet constantly ran, the cabinets and draw handles kept falling off, the microwave was burnt up and nearly fell if you moved it too much opening the door or closing it, the fan in the bathroom didnt work. I could go on. I did not feel comfortable my whole stay and wanted to just get my money back and go somewhere else. I should of had a clue when I pulled up and the hotel was surrounded by a bunch of already boarded up motels, restaurants and building. Complete desert over there. Just dont book.

Facility was not clean. Pool was closed, coffee machine at complementary breakfast was broken.
Was a bunch of rose petals under the bed in my room, as if the petals we swept under the bed on purpose.

Pool was out of order, strong smells in lobby. Bathroom had mold on the ceiling, vents etc. bathroom door could not close nor lock. I was too exhausted to make a fuss about the sheets but the comforter you could tell was just folded not even replaced, bright stains and dirt on it but I could just sleep with the sheets..

No coffee, no ice, pool closed, bad neighborhood, crappy breakfast, hair all over the room, no fan in bathroom.

The pool was closed, no breakfast was served because of electricity issues, ice machine was broken, we had roaches in our room and our bathroom sink didnt drain. We booked this specific place for the breakfast and the pool.

Pool out of service all three days of our stay. Told that coffee pot didn't work, so no coffee all three days, the person in charge of continental breakfast, didn't want to be there. And the quality of food showed it. The room we had was musty smelling and don't believe it has been cleaned in a long time. The ice machine didn't work. If not for location, we would have canceled our stay, but after driving all the way from northwest Minnesota, we didn't have the ambition to look for another place to stay, all the way to your hotel we were anticipating a good relaxing swim at the end of the day. But that never happened. We will be leaving a poor rating on booking.com as well. I don't know what happened to this place, but it is obvious that the owner is only into it for cash return. And I'm pretty sure that any profit this place made in the past is gone and the doors will close for good.

Everything was great. Highly recommend for military families

Very dirty. Staff unresponsive. I had to go and buy Lysol to spray everything. Grime on furniture. Tub had hair in it and also dripping. Dirty walls and doors. I had to wipe down everything. Shower curtain moldy.

It was too far from the airport. The elevator was dirty. The rooms didn’t get cleaned while we was there. We were gone long enough for the rooms to get cleaned. There was barely no staff. We had to ask for more trash bags and they only gave us two. The trash kept piling up and no one came to take trash we had to bring it to the front desk so the front desk worker can take it out. We ran out of toilet paper. On a lighter note the beds were comfy. Also the ac didn’t really cool the room down. I don’t like to give bad reviews but I think the place needs to a bit more accommodating. They did have breakfast and that wasn’t to bad. My son also like the swimming pool.

They left forks in the sink and no bags in the trash can paper was on the floor the lady at the front desk had the room reclean which was good. No one s&owed up to do breakfast so people were waiting but the gentleman from the front desk was doing both which was awesome of him until help came. I just wanted coffee
