Lovely hotel. Unique rooms and deck. Great views. Need to be prepared for a steep hike up to it, tho.

The property views were amazing! 10/10 felt like you were in the clouds. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was ok! I like that it had an accessible trail to walk down into the village of the Oia. Overall the hotel was amazing

Let me start off by warning future travels to the horrible experience we faced while staying at Nimbus Santorini.

Check-in started well enough, pleasant front desk staff…. That’s where the pleasantries ended. At check in, front desk told us that if we paid cash that we’d recieve a discount or a free wine tour. I indicated I didn’t feel safe giving that much cash and asked that my credit card be charged as I booked.
After much persistence from hotel staff, I was asked again to pay via bank transfer. Used PayPal against my better judgement. As bank transfer is not instant, the front staff harassed us daily via WhatsApp in order to receive payment. Ended up be charged twice. Very stressful situation that they caused.


We reserved a private suite with two king beds with a private hot tub. What we got did NOT match the description. We were given a suite with one king bed and a glorified couch. When we asked front desk about this issue, they assumed we’d share the one king bed. I highlighted that I reserved a room with two king beds and they indicated that I misread or didn’t understand the booking. When I showed them, they chalked it up to translation issue… they indicated they would prepare the “couch” /second king bed with sheets. It took three times asking for this to be done before it happened. The hot tub is accessible and within view of the restaurant and other suites. Hiking trail runs behind suite and is open to outsiders. Not the definition of private or secluded.

They should however have a way of getting from the entrance to the hotel up the hill as it is very steep, maybe a golf cart

This hotel offers a very beautiful sunset view as it’s situated on top of a hill, the room had a modern style simple but elegant with black Matt pattern. The jacuzzi was very relaxing to stay in after a long day of walking and exploring the city, which, btw was very beautiful and breathtaking. The breakfast offered a variety of options to chose from the menu everything was very tasty also the restaurant was on top so you could also enjoy a breathtaking view both morning and during the sunset…finally the staff was very friendly and approachable especially front desk which helped a lot in booking us taxis whenever we needed any. Overall we really enjoyed staying there our holiday was unforgettable.

My husband and I loved our stay at Nimbus! It was conveniently located on the trail so it was easy to walk to everything in Oia. Our room was nice and clean, and the view from our balcony area was beautiful. We enjoyed getting the complimentary breakfast each morning, and staff was also very friendly and helpful. We would stay again!

All rooms are on the hillsude facing the sunset. The views are absolutely stunning! The staff is so helpful. Each room has a pool or hot tub that faces the sunset and is just gorgeous.

THIS IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL HOTEL ON THE MOUNTAIN TOP!!!!! THE SUNSETS FROM OUR ROOM WITH PRIVATE INFINITY POOL IS THE MOST SPECTACULAR IVE EVER EXPERIENCED. Really gorgeous, really well designed.

The views from the room are incredible and even better from the breakfast area/restaurant. The staff are excellent and go out of their way to accommodate and communicate.
While it probably cost a little more, we communicated directly via WhatsApp with the concierge for all of our taxi requirements, which was immensely convenient (considering the island is not that walkable outside of the villages). Also, I made the mistake of booking all of our activities on the island apart from booking this hotel. The hotel offers a ton of third party services that would’ve saved me a lot of time (helicopter tours, catamaran cruises, etc).
The absolute best thing about the whole experience was the private sunset dinner at the peak. You can literally see both views of the sea from the island peak and watch the sunset with a private dinner. Totally worth the cost, and I’m surprised they don’t advertise it more. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to any traveler, especially a couple looking for a romantic stay.

Had the most lovely stay at Nimbus! The view from the hotel is incredible! You can watch the sunset over Oia from your private pool. The staff are all lovely and are quick to arrange transfers to and from the hotel. Food was amazing, especially the breakfast which you can eat with an amazing view over Oia. We stayed in the Rocky room with the private pool and found it very comfortable, my only criticism is that the room was pretty small and a bit difficult to store luggage but other than that it was comfortable and the terrace and pool was amazing!

The location shown in Expedia is completely wrong. It’s not 5 min walking distance to center of Oía. Taxi ride is about 20 min and 20 euros one way, there is nothing around that area, it’s on the top of the mountain overlooking the oía. If you are booking this hotel based on the location provided, don’t do it.

Very nice place on the hill with the beautiful view. I was able to park my rental car without any problem. Alexandra was great as a host. Rooms are spacious and clean. 20 minutes walk to Oia was easy.

We would absolutely recommend this property to anyone going to Santorini! The hotel itself is very nice and relaxing. The restaurant onsite was great and there are great views from it. The hotel is a little further away from town, but conveniently located next to a walking path that leads directly to the center of things. The hotel also has a driver that can take you anywhere you need to go. What really sets this hotel apart is the staff. Absolutely everyone we interacted with was incredibly helpful and pleasant. This was hands down the best customer service we've ever received at a hotel!

We loved our stay here for our honeymoon, for the remainder of our vacation travels we kept saying how much we missed Nimbus and the staff. Everyone is extremely helpful in making your day as memorable as possible. From the front desk staff, the cleaners, to the servers. We loved that we weren’t right in the hussle of Oia (about a 5 minute drive on our ATV), and we loved that in 25 min we could be in Fira for the dinner and drinks. The only thing the property is missing is a public pool area with a bar, which would make this property even better.

Looking forward to our next visit to Santorini and Nimbus!

This hotel is amazing and the staff are top notch. Booked it for a friend’s birthday trip. Though the hotel is likely more suitable for a romantic vacation, the hotel’s private driver took us into town and wherever we wanted, making for a fun trip. I highly recommend this place!

Vi bokade Nimbus hotel då vi ville ha ett mindre hotell en bit bort från alla turister men ändå nära Oia och Fira.
Nimbus är nybyggt och väldigt fint. Personalen är otroligt trevliga och serviceinriktade. Vi har bara fina rekommendationer. Allt från personalen i receptionen, baren och städning var underbara och behjälpliga. Högsta betyg från oss. Kram från Emil och Emma

We had a wonderful stay at the Nimbus Hotel. This is a brand new property located on a hill overlooking Oia.

The views from the property are spectacular. You can see the sunset over Oia and the ocean to the west but you can also see some of the sunrise to the east.

All the staff are friendly and helpful from reception, to house keeping, and bar and wait staff. They were all very attentive.

We stayed in the Dome Executive suite with private pool. The unit was excellent the pool amazing and a wonderful place to have your breakfast in the morning.

There were some small things that could help to make the hotel even better. One is the wifi. The service was really poor in our room. It would cut in and out. Also when you were connected the speed was really poor. This was really frustrating. Having stayed at other hotels in Santorini I must say that this definitely needs to be improved.

Another small issue was that there was no iron or iron board in the room. So when I called reception I was told that they do not have irons in rooms but that they did have laundry service for 20euros. This was very frustrating because the listing on hotels.com states that the room has iron and iron board even if there wasn't almost all hotels you can call reception and have one brought to the room. In the end the girl was able to get me an iron (no iron board) which I really appreciated.

Otherwise really nice hotel, amazing views, great food.

Personal extrem freundlich und die Zimmer echt schick und sehr neu!
Das Frühstück auf der Terrasse zu genießen ist genial! Etwas weiter von Oia entfernt dafür perfekter Ort für Beobachtung des Sonnenuntergangs und sehr ruhig!
