the location is great—everything is within walking distance, and it’s a good spot if you’re here just to relax and enjoy the beach. Just keep in mind this is more of an Airbnb-style stay with no room service, which I didn’t realize at the time of booking. If you’ll need a late checkout, be sure to request it when you make the reservation.
We stayed here for a wedding, but unfortunately, the accommodations didn’t quite meet our needs. There was no iron provided, no closet to hang our outfits, and no full-length mirror, which made getting ready a bit challenging. There was also an unpleasant odor coming from the air vent during our stay.
I feel like I got a great deal for a room with a kitchen.
Street parking was almost non existent. There were streetside parking meters, but we're full most of the time. They do have arranged parking at a different area closeby.
Pool and receptionist
Knowing a bar was at the door, homeless people at the door, better parking, the whole place needs power washing and new paint.
The place was very nice over exceeded my expectations. The remodel was done very well. The only thing I have to say that wouldn’t be is that I left my wallet I think there and I can’t get a hold of anybody. I want to rent again and I will if I can or maybe even the main suite
I appreciated the full kitchen and spacious bathroom, reliable Wi-Fi, and the convenience of a keypad entrance instead of carrying a key. The ceiling fan and portable fan (though loud) was helpful as the AC did not work very well.
The photos in the listing are misleading, featuring different rooms/lobby, and set unrealistic expectations. The window AC unit struggled to cool the room and emitted a musty smell. The property felt run-down with dark, poorly tinted windows, and the TV was inoperable despite the assistance of two friendly staff members. The decor was odd, featuring dusty fake plants, sculptures, and a worn-out couch. Though the pool looked inviting, it was closed for maintenance during our entire visit.
Staff forgot go leave the apartment keys, and of cousre, didn't answer on calls or message. Finaly they replied on the booking message.
Also, they forgot to leave me the key for the parking lotz so I need to pay the parking for the first couple hours.
The condo was very spacious and loved the Hawaiian themed decor. A lot of room for the whole family to spread out and enjoy individual spaces when needed, and a large table to come together for food and games.
The hosts were super responsive and got back to me very quickly whenever I had a question.
The location was top notch! Located right off Kuhio Ave, this place is very walkable and in the heart of Waikiki.
The place was slightly dusty. The Master Bathroom has obvious water damage and mold in the shower. I didn't use that as main bathroom was very lovely and clean.
The bar downstairs does attract a lot of different people and it can be a bit noisy.
Although I knew in advanced based on other reviews, the pool remained closed. It looked really nice down there, so it was disappointing.
Location and the bar downstairs
The pool wasn't available and really didn't see any staff at all..
Very close to where you want to be in waikiki
The TV didnt work. You couldnt connect it to wifi or an app. It had cable box that didnt work. The elevator also takes more than 10 min to reach the top floor. The pool was closed the entire time.
Location was great. In the heart of Waikiki and close to restaurants and the beach.
I think the mattress needs to be changed out as do the pillows. Both are well over their life cycle and are very bad.
Great location. Away from Hussle of kalakaua. Only 2 blocks from beach. Great pool. Very clean room and hotel. Desiree was excellent cleaner.
She stocked it with extra linen cause I had longer stay. Many restaurants close but mostly cooked my own meals. Grocery within 1-2 mile. Neighborhood was quiet after 10 pm. Did not go out after 9 pm. Entry to building and elevator was by key fob so safe. Had own private balcony. Room very Hawaiian in decor. Made it feel tropical Oasis. Manager helpful and nice.
Room needed a closet to hang clothes.
The room was very nice, tho not the one pictured here. We had the small unit next door.
We were given two different sets of instructions to check in. There appeared to be confusion over which unit would be ours. There was never any staff at the location to deal with any problems. We specifically selected a hotel WITH A POOL. The pool was closed the entire time we were there. Room was nice but this was not my planned vacation. I would have stayed much closer to the beach had I know we would not have a pool
Nothing to like about this property
Show the right property not use fake pictures of the rooms that aren’t what shows on site.
Good location. Fun bar downstairs.
The pool was closed and inoperable the entire time of our stay. Waiting for a pump or something.
The toilet seat was cracked, so your butt cheek got pinched. Lol
Wondered why it was so loud in the room, and the blinds were moving. Seems 1 of the glass window slats fell out.
The 6th floor fire escape stairwell door was locked while the other floors were unlocked. Therefore, the 2 penthouses on the 6th floor had no way out if there were a fire. We figured we would jump down to one of the lower levels.
