Comfy enough
Pros:

Nice clean bathroom.
Nice street view from our window.
Reception people were nice.

Cons:

The tv location was a hazard. We understand the room was really narrow but still that was an unsafe location.
The room cups and teaspoons were unclean, very dusty.
The sofa looks and feels dirty as well.
I was expecting hotel slippers but I guess that’s not common in NZ.

For breakfast, the restaurant has very limited and simple food options and the same were served during our stay. The utensils were placed in the table without any cover so they are contaminated, and there was no alternative so we had to choose even dirty.

I love the Mercure Queen Street. Nothing negative to say, only down side is the breakfast is a bit sad but not awful.

This has been my 3rd time staying with mercure , literally my fave place to stay at the beds are comfortable the views are always nice and especially the stuff so kind and helpful
