Small room but packed with character and magnificent view. Room was 703a. Highly recommended for a great view of sky tower. Comfy bed. Great bathroom. Coffee tea cocoa jug etc. Extra seating in room. Off street parking in safe area garage. Restaurant and bar accessible from hotel lift. Friendly, helpful staff ... and the staff make a hotel. This was a last minute booking and got a discount, also a free upgrade ... so overall it was an exceptional price for a great room. Ask for 703a or 703b
Hard to find a park before checkin. No microwave, plates, cutlery etc. No toaster. No freezer in fridge.
We loved the room and the hotel itself.
We were disappointed by the location. It didn’t feel particularly safe to back to of a night time.

Gute Lage zur City, viele nette Restaurants fußläufig, ruhig, gutes Bett, gutes Frühstück, Garage zu fairen Preis, sehr nettes Personal.
It was a convenient location for our Auckland mini concert break ! Was able to walk around the city and catch the rail link down to Waitemata Station :) More of a standalone hotel than full service hotel but ideal for our needs - there is a Lone Star available for meals.
Car park was pretty tight. We had a little car and managed the in/out without any hassle. However we could see marks on the wall where larger vehicles scratched the sides ! We were very grateful to find a hotel with a car park in situ !
Great room with everything you could need for your stay. Clean and well set up. Amazing bathroom.
Not the best soundproofing, upstairs neighbours were very audible.
Very disappointing the hot food had been sitting a long time and was lukewarm, not appetizing at all.
Comfy beds. Lovely rooms. Nice big bathroom. Very clean.
Check in was awful, not enough staff. A mini bus arrived same time we did so had to wait 20 minutes to check in. Went and had dinner while we waited and came back to no staff. A sign said ring 0 for assistance and nobody answered. Had to just wait until somebody came.

Room was well organised
I didn’t like that on arrival I was left waiting outside the door while the person at the desk served someone else. I wasn’t able to enter the foyer and wait inside to be served.
Location
No TV remote, did ask reception but not brought to the room. Shower gel bottle empty managed to get a replacement from the front desk. No wi-fi info or information pack in the room.
Friendly service, cheap and good location.
