Our stay at Viceroy Hotel Kopaonik was ultimately very disappointing and left us feeling quite let down.
We had fully prepaid our reservation through Booking.com. One week before arrival, we upgraded our room to have two separate beds, for which we were asked to pay an additional €30. That was the only outstanding amount. However, on the same day, our reservation was somehow cancelled. We immediately contacted both Booking.com and the hotel, and we were reassured by both sides that everything was fine and that we could simply come as planned.
When we arrived, we were told that there was no room available for us.
The reception staff were not particularly helpful in resolving the situation. Instead of offering a practical solution, we were advised to make a new booking at a significantly higher price. The hotel’s direct price was much higher, so in the end we booked a same-day room again through Booking.com, which was still more expensive than our original reservation.
After a long trip and with limited options, we had little choice. Also, only after asking twice did we receive a complimentary drink!
Unfortunately, there were several additional issues during the stay:
• One of the two elevators was not working
• The water in the spa pools was not warm enough
• There was insufficient hot water in the room
• Parking was not included in the price
• Storage for skis was also charged separately
• Breakfast staff were rude and yelled at me on the first morning, refusing to let me sit at the first table just to finish up quickly. Instead we were seated at the only unprepared table, no cutlery, napkins, nothing. Had to get those by myself from the other tables.
Overall, the hotel feels overpriced for the level of service and experience provided. For a hotel that presents itself as high-end, we expected much better organization and customer care.
The only real positive was the bar and particularly Sofia, who was kind and understanding.
The location is just in front of 3 main lifts.
All facilities, spa, modern style of the rooms, selection and quality of the meals, attentiveness and hospitality of the staff exceeded expectations of Serbian and world standards.
The outdoor pool overviewing the mountain is a special touch, a great way to end a ski/snowboard day.
We will definitely come back again.

На ужине все напитки платные, включая обычную воду, что меня крайне удивило. Уж обычную воду отель, мне кажется, может себе позволить наливать гостям бесплатно.

Beside that food is very good.
First of all, I was not satisfied with the timing of the room cleaning. Since the hotel is located on a ski mountain, we were usually out skiing from around 9am until 4pm. During our four-day stay, the housekeeping staff came to clean the room around 4 pm or even later, which I believe is quite late.
In addition, the overall cleanliness could be improved. When we entered the room, the bathroom was not very clean. The coffee cups in the room had also not been properly washed — one had coffee stains and another had visible lipstick marks. Additionally, one of the bathrobes provided had women’s hairs on it, which was unpleasant.
The restaurant where breakfast and dinner are served is relatively small considering the capacity of the hotel. There were not enough staff members to handle the number of guests, which resulted in slower service.

В номере не работал смыв, в лени заселения - попросил починить, так и уехали с нормально не работающим бачком. Если попасть в час пик, то нет свободных столов на завтраке.
