Pros:

The lobby looked fantastic and the staff was excellent! The location was perfect for what we were doing. There was a delay in check in as their systems weren't running right but they handled it amazingly!

Cons:

The room was very outdated with some stains. It seemed they spent all their money remodeling the lobby. The breakfast was only until 9 which normally the hotels I've stayed at were until 10. The food we were able to get wasn't that great but we were hungry so it worked.

Pros:

Hyatt House OSU/Columbus meets all the wonderful expectations we have for the brand. We’ve stayed at Hyatt House in other cities, and the OSU/Columbus site is just as modern, clean, and hospitable as the others. An added plus with this location is the close proximity to campus (easily walkable on the Olentangy river trail) - perfect for hospital visits, football games, or other OSU events.

Clean and well kept property. I had a kitchenette, and it was well stocked, I had everything I needed, but they would’ve provided whatever I didn’t have if I needed it. The breakfast choices were good, although I would’ve liked for there to have been some danishes as I had children with me and they would’ve probably enjoyed that. they loved the pool, and it is a saltwater pool! And there is even a place to shower off before getting in and out.

Cons:

I had a room with two queen beds and a pullout couch. I have been on some pretty uncomfortable pullout beds, but there’s beat all others. It was obviously a very old bed. I slept on it the first night in the next two nights I slept on the couch.

Mixed Experience . Some good some not so good .
Pros:

Location was perfect . Our room was clean and everything worked great . However our room was never cleaned and I don’t know why. I never saw a post or anything stating that rooms are only cleaned on request . Anyway , not a big deal. Front desk staff, the 3 we interacted with were pretty unfriendly . Not rude per se, but unfriendly . We specifically said good morning and hello to the housekeeping staff we saw, and we were ignored . They didn’t even look up at us . Bartender made coffee special for me one afternoon and I appreciated it so much , he was great . But, I probably won’t stay here again unfortunately and I travel here a lot .

Terrible experience
Pros:

Heat didn’t work. Set to 65 and stayed at 74 all night. Notified front desk - maintenance would be in at 11:00 the next day. This didn’t help us sleep.
Silverware hadn’t been fully washed.
Coffee pot still had coffee in it from last customer.
Shower was dirty. So disappointed because this is always my go to hotel when I’m in Columbus.
